7 dogs in Starbucks today is too much

I turned around and walked out again, don’t get me started on dogs sniffing cups and plates of food whilst sat next to the owners.
What is the solution ?
Can’t dogs be left anymore?
AIBU to think dog separation cannot be so painful that dogs have to go everywhere!

This country is becoming over run with bloody dogs! The solution is to stop treating them like babies and leave them at home.

If you don’t like dogs or dogs being inside cafes then just leave and go somewhere else. It’s not really an issue.

Well it needs to be so that things change. There is no reason for dogs to be in cafes. Rural pubs, yes. City cafes, no.

We don't need dogs being foisted on us everywhere we go.

I saw that a hotel I like has now decided to allow them. Showed pictures of them sat on a sofa. I mean, really. Anyway we won't be returning. Maybe the "dog pound" really is worth that much but this hotel is on an island, so you can only get there by ferry (not that reliable) or plane (dogs not allowed unless assistance dogs). So I'd have thought that the dog pound was worth that much less.

The solution is you go somewhere else, you have far far more choice where to eat and drink than a non dog owner, so just go to another establishment, if I see dogs in a cafe it makes me want to go in, love dogs.

Vote with your feet . But might I suggest not going to the cafe I went to today which had an actual dog section on the menu. 50p sausage £1 bacon treats - free

Took mine to a cafe today because it was convenient as I was already out with them. No separation anxiety here

I don't have to take my dog in (and go out many times without my dog!) but if I'm passing then I'm unlikely to drive home, put dogs away then come back.

shops and cafe know that if your somewhere where a good portion of your foot trade has dogs then you face a choice of losing a portion of trade that dislikes dogs in cafes or losing a portion of trade for whom you are no longer convenient. Most people are simply ambivalent and don't care

I agree. It’s so annoying. Unfortunately a lot of dogs will whine & bark if left, so you also have to think of the poor neighbours if the dogs are left at home. It feels like everyone has to have a dog these days.

Cafes that have a no dog policy. (Apart from guide dogs/service dogs). Do your own research in your local area.

I don’t think I’ve ever visited a public place where there is no escape from dogs. Sounds scary though.
