I read an article in the Mail on Monday about how Giles Coren abused his neighbour who is the mother of an autistic child by pretending to be a delivery driver to gain access to her house in a row about parking. I am the mother of an ASD child and would divorce my husband if he behaved like this. I can’t believe someone who is employed by the BBC has so little control over himself. No wonder he was issued with a police caution. His poor neighbour.

So would I. I'd have left him years ago for the horrid ways he's treated people. He's a terrible role model for his kids.

I've never heard any stories about him being alright.

He was the one who spread the false rumours about Prince William and the affair. He let it go on for years then finally, when it was round the globe, quietly put out that he had made the whole thing up.

Giles Coren actually sounds dangerous. It was 11.30pm at night! I feel so sorry for the poor autistic boy who got dressed and felt scared in his own home as a consequence of Giles Coren’s actions. And his poor mother! It would have taken hours to calm my daughter down if someone had done something like that. She has really bad insomnia and anxiety, which caused night terrors when she was younger. According to the article he knew his neighbour had an autistic child.

Doesn't surprise me. He's a nasty piece of work. There have been lots of things about him over the years in the papers. He posted something vile on Twitter not that long ago about someone who had just died (a journalist I think). Totally entitled prick.

He also tweeted about whether he should rape, murder and burn the body of his TWELVE year old neighbour because the kid got a drum kit for Christmas. He’s genuinely vile.

I do think he’s lost a lot of work though. That hotels programme, for example. But he still writes for the Times, I think. He’s really benefited from the goodwill towards his father.

Giles Coren is a supercilious, horrible man. He has always had a sense of entitlement (IMO) and this just proves it. Wish he'd been given more than a caution.

Until the last five years, I thought his humour just about trumped his twattiness. Partly as I quite liked his wife's blog.
