To not paint my toenails for my friends wedding tomorrow

First world problem I know! I have painted my fingernails a lovely red but I have lost my toe separators and find painting my toes boring, plus I have a 10 month old baby who makes every task 10x more difficult to complete! My toes will be on show as I have sandals to wear with my dress tomorrow.

UABU- paint your toenails to match your fingernails
UANBU- nude toenails are fine

Roll up some cotton wool or tissue as separators. I'd have to paint them personally, but I'm sure nobody is going to give even the mildest shit if your toenails are painted or not so YANBU.

Nobody will care, but for future just use toilet paper to separate your toes.

Your feet won't be on anyone else's mind at the wedding. All eyes on the happy couple. Save yourself the hassle.

As long as your toenails are in good condition and not disclosed it will be fine.

I don't use toe separators BTW and manage not to make a mess.

Paint them. You will be a little bit annoyed with yourself all day each time you look down if you leave them. And most other people will have done for a lovely sunny wedding.

In the time it took to write this post, you could have painted one side.

Yes, just like the advice to sleep when baby sleeps 🤣he doesn’t sleep unless I walk with him in the buggy or if I lie in bed with him cosleeping!

Fair enough but as someone with a nightmare sleeper myself I'm pretty sure I could scrape together 2 mins to paint my toenails.

Do it for you - they look so lovely when they match and you'll feel great about your feet being on show. Roll up loo roll to make separators. If you go over the edge it comes off in the bath.

I can't go anywhere without my toes done in an open toe, I know no one cares but it makes me feel put together. I go to the nail salon as I hate doing them myself and the whole waiting for them to dry, it's not cheap and is definitely a treat though!

Then I would kindly suggest you have a bigger problem to deal with than the colour of your nails 😂

There is nothing wrong with naked toe nails unless they are yellow and manky which is gross on anyone man or woman. If your nails are trimmed and healthy then you don't need to paint them. It's far more superior and swoon worthy to have naturally good toenails that don't need hiding with nail varnish which actually can be a disguise to all manners of fungal toe infections, you're lucky if your naked toenails look good, if you got it flaunt it I say!
If you want some effort you could put clear nail varnish on which looks so clean and nice. Focus on no crusty dry heels or hard skin.

God, some of these answers are depressing. Even if nails are yellow or manky, it’s just a tiny part of a body and who cares what other people think? Personally I don’t think painted toenails always look lovely, especially bright colours like red look tacky imho, but that’s for myself, I don’t care if other people like them for themselves. No wonder we’ve got swathes of young girls wanting to opt out of being girls when they have these kinds of pressures on them, this is only the toes! When you are lying in your deathbed, will you think ‘I’m glad no one judged my toenails’?

It would be nicer if you did, as others have said, It's a 2 minute job, they don't even need to be that neat, just chuck a bit on!

I don't think I'd wear nice sandals or open toe heels without painting my nails especially for an occasion tbh! But it takes me a minute to paint mine without a toe separator!

I also wouldn't care if someone else didn't paint theirs though!
