M&S Super Nutty Wholefood Salad catastrophe?

I LOVE M&S Super Nutty Wholefood Salad and it has been my go-to meal option for years whenever I travel. I tried to get a few yesterday prior to a business trip and it wasn’t available. Tried two other shops on the motorway - no joy.
Eventually I found a smaller version, minus the salad leaves and humous. But the humous and leaves were an integral part of the salad.
Does anyone know whether M&S have discontinued the original one? Everyone I know eats them so they’re presumably quite popular, so why would they be discontinued? There’s no mention on the internet of this disastrous development. What’s going on? Please help!

They used to do a chocolate bar that was layers of dark, milk and white chocolate. It was lovely.

back in the 80s they used to do pancakes/crepes with cheese and ham filling, they were perfect for tea with a salad.

More recently, it seems their ranges reduced significantly during the pandemic and they never recovered.

I was still recovering from M&s discontinuing there chicken escalope when a few weeks ago their Bang Bang dip disappeared without a trace. I can't even see it online 😫

I’ve just remembered they’ve also discontinued their baked potato flavour crisps. They should bring them back.

They used to do gorgeous spring onion flavour chipsticks- absolutely lovely, with a really strong spring onion flavour, and then one day they they just disappeared. Gutted.

M&S are terrible for discontinuing much-loved food items. I still miss the egg and prawn sesame seed roll they did about 20 years ago, and NOW bars.

I would kill for one of those prawn and egg rolls 😥

The sandwiches now are so dull.

I haven't seen this dip but the Bang Bang cauliflower ready meal also seems to have disappeared from shelves. It was a vegan meal and bloody gorgeous (I'm very far from vegan) I'm not happy that it's gone.

Every time I go into M&S I check to see if they’ve decided to bring back a sandwich they discontinued more than 20 years ago. It was Tuna Melt - tuna mayo filling with onions and peppers with a soft cheese topping on the top slice of bread. They were divine. They also used to do a Big Beef and Onion sandwich which was roast beef on onion bread. That was really good too.

YES! I loved that sandwich. I'm sure they must have discontinued it when traffic light packaging came in because it was probably about a million calories.

M&S also used to do these divine milk chocolate caramels, but with a smooth caramel centre not chewy. They were individually wrapped and the chocolate was so thick and the caramel drippy and just the right amount of sweetness. They now only seem to have chewy caramels which I hate.

M&S have changed my favourite cereal , my mum used to buy it for me in the 90s and I’ve bought it up until this year , used to be strawberry and almond muesli now strawberry and white chocolate , it’s just nowt the same .

also the beetroot and feta salad pot has been changed it now has some faffy quinoa in it and nowhere near as lovely as it was .

I haven't forgive them for discontinuing the goats cheese with caramelised red onion. See also the veggie gluten free 'chicken' dippers.

Although the chococino muffins have reappeared for the first time in years so my kids are happy. The halloumi, spinach, beans and mushroom breakfast box went for a few weeks then came back too.

agree so much. A whole fridge aisle in my local food hall is now totally full of wine in the fridge…..used to be food and no wine. It’s like they do have enough food/lines to fill the shop anymore so try and cover this up by sticking wine in instead!
