M&S Super Nutty Wholefood Salad catastrophe?

I LOVE M&S Super Nutty Wholefood Salad and it has been my go-to meal option for years whenever I travel. I tried to get a few yesterday prior to a business trip and it wasn’t available. Tried two other shops on the motorway - no joy.
Eventually I found a smaller version, minus the salad leaves and humous. But the humous and leaves were an integral part of the salad.
Does anyone know whether M&S have discontinued the original one? Everyone I know eats them so they’re presumably quite popular, so why would they be discontinued? There’s no mention on the internet of this disastrous development. What’s going on? Please help!

I couldn't find it the other day and love it too.

When I was a child they used to do a pear flavoured fizzy water which I loved - so sad when they stopped it

Oh no! I'll have a look tomorrow. I still haven't got over them discontinuing the carrot and bulghur wheat salad which was my absolute favourite...

I was so pissed off about them getting rid of fruit crumbles I wrote to them, they did write back but with nothing satisfactory. A few years ago they had summer fruit crumbles but they were smaller, harder and missing my favourite pineapple flavour. Such disappointment.

I've had one this week but, it had a cannellini bean dip, not humous in it, but a bit of salad too. Is that the one you mean?
If so, have a look at your local Ocado app to see if it's listed there. That's how I usually check if something has been discontinued 😂

Pret have added insult to injury by discontinuing their prawn & dill sandwich, as a PP said, by only doing tuna sandwiches in a crappy white baguette, and by discontinuing the olive, avo and toms wholegrain baguette. The BASTARDS.

Boots used to a do a lovely Ciabatta sandwich. I've never tasted anything as delicious as that Ciabatta, even in Italy and France!

I am now sad all over again about the chicken tikka sandwich because it was so wonderful.
They also used to do a wonderful baked eastern European cheesecake inn the 80s- then one day it just wasn't there anymore. And if you complain they just respond 'We hope you find something to enjoy in our new range!'. No.

I had m&s super nutty wholefood salad this week for both breakfast and lunch 😊

The small size has no hummus, the large size does, but as someone else said, it's not chickpea hummus but paler and less tasty. Ah well.

Omg when I was little (40 now) my mum used to buy these puff pastry wrapped chicken breasts that then had a puff pastry chicken on the top of them. Dished up with mash and sweetcorn, wow, take me back!!

When Ocado went from Waitrose to M & S they carried on doing a chicken tikka biryani ready meal which Waitrose had done but then discontinued it. It was my favourite easy dinner - delicious, filling and you could microwave it from frozen. I still long for it!

I prefer the smaller one without the hummus but could only find the big one last week so definitely still available then.

m&s are getting really bad about stopping stuff. It’s annoying. They used to do some nice flavoured fresh chicken escalopes which have gone. Plus some nice honeycomb cornettos

They have got a new range of poke bowl type salads so wouldn’t be surprised if they are discontinuing stuff

They’ve just stopped doing the organic Greek style yogurt which had to be the best yogurt I’ve ever tasted.
I’m not going to shop there now as I only used to visit to get my yogurt and other bits.

I am very, very sad about their gf poppyseed loaf which was the best gf bread I have ever found. Probably discontinued about 5 years ago.

They used to have king prawn and rocket sandwiches with a vinaigrette type dressing. They were fab. Gone.

AND they stopped selling the packs of sushi in the sandwich section. It was one of the few things DS2 would eat. They do other really fancy stuff in their deli, but it's extortionate.

Sorry about the salad though!

At one point (i would guess c 2011) they introduced an amazing pain au chocolat bread and butter pudding. Bought it for a few weeks of treats then it disappeared, never to be seen again. Never forgiven them.
