To KNOW Dcat was wrong and secretly think she should admit she was?

This morning DCat demanded to come with me for our usual walk (she's comes with me, for the first bit, when I take the dogs out). I explained it was very snowy and she would be better staying behind. I gave her plenty of opportunities to come back in once she saw the weather herself.

She disagreed.

She walked a short bit and demanded to be picked up. As a good owner I complied. At the normal part I leave her I put her down and continued on my way with the DDogs. Did my usual loop, met her at the usual waiting spot and carried her back.

She is not happy. She thinks I was neglectful to have left her and is now making her displeasure clear.

I think she knew it was snowy and should just admit she was wrong to come outside.

I know she'll never admit she's wrong but AIBU to KNOW she was?

As requested DCat under normal circumstances when she's not plotting my destruction...

She normally sits in front on my PC. She's actually sitting in the other room right now but just keeps occasionally walking past the door (pretending to go to the water bowl) and gives me such a glare.

What a Princess! I have feral/community cats living in my garden (I put a bed in the greenhouse for them to help them through the winter) and they're having a ball prancing through the snow and catching snowflakes this morning Grin

You should have abandoned the walk and brought her home immediately…then maybe you could have gone back out for the walk if your overlord seemed ok with it.

If my Bengal fell out with me I’d have to go to the loo on my own “stuff you, see if I care if you get attacked” with a derisory puff of air from the nostrils.

I love this, my cats are indoor cats but even so they are miserable sods, they like to be stroked on their terms only and may decide to sit or sleep next to us if it suits them. I'd love them to be chilled enough to be carried lol.
