Obviously Piers Morgan is a monumental arse but his attitude is typical of the misogynistic abuse directed at Madonna. She’s doing a world tour of her 40 years of greatest hits. Mick Jagger, Elton John etc are all also still touring into their 70’s and 80’s and that’s fine as they are ‘legends’ but Madonna, arguably one of greatest female artists ever is tragic and gets loads of abuse for how she dresses, what she wears, how much Botox she has, etc etc.

Total and utter misogyny.

I have no time for that man but you know that Jagger and John have both had huge amounts of ridicule heaped on them for various things over the years, their appearance, their behaviour and their love lives in Jaggers case. John has also been ripped to shreds about his relationship with his mum like its anyones business.

So it's just plain ageism then, not misogyny?

There is ageism and misogyny.. and the awful view that post-menopause women should not be sexual (some people really can’t get their heads around the facts that women in the 60s, 70s & 80s enjoy sex)

I don't necessarily believe it is the touring that he's talking about.

Probably more the copious amounts of plastic surgery to try and hide her age. The fact that she puts pictures of herself all over social media that are filtered to death or she's naked in them. The fact that she hangs out with her young daughter all of the time to 'look cool'. Dating men young enough to be her (grand) son.

If a bloke did that, you'd surely think they were having an old age crisis, wouldn't you?

I think she's fantastic. Always been a big fan. And I hope she continues to push boundaries and be her true self till her dying day.

Cher still tours, Dolly Parton still tours, it’s got nothing to do with her being a older female singer, all to do with her bizarre behaviour. She can age how she likes but people will comment, she’s not exactly a private person.

But it’s grim how she’s still getting her baps out at 60. It’s sad to see the desperation. Yeah mick Jagger prances about the stage but he doesn’t get his knob out and post weird videos on Instagram.
