CF Have come to stay - The morning after

The first thread is full so I'll start a new one, in case there is a dramatic update in the morning.

I actually feel emotionally drained right now. I keep almost crying. Pathetic. Probably the wine thats doing that.

I'll be going to bed shortly and i'll update tomorrow if theres anything to add. I reckon they will be up early and go quietly though.

They don't drive a ford ranger (I remember that thread! haven't looked at a ford ranger driver the same since!) Its a bmw something or other.

Dp cleared up the kitchen and 1 dc (dd19) came down and helped, so thats all good. She then came out, gave me a little hug and said DP had explained about the food. She then lit up and offered me a cigarette (WTF! I don't smoke and although had an inkling wasn't sure she did) and said no ones perfect, everyone has failings. Honestly i'm in a parallel universe tonight.

Dp has put most of the beers away in the garage, just left in the fridge what was there. I do wonder if they will take them home.

Wonder how long they were planning to stay and mooch off you if you hadn’t said anything?!!

Just read through the last few comments on last thread and to clarify DP thanked me for cooking (again) and them for buying.

Well done OP! PLEASE make sure they can’t run off with croissants and beer in the morning! Honestly I don’t know where some people get the gall…

They have taken beyond the piss.

if they knew they were paying they wouldn’t have got finest steak then - value baked beans and stale bread(?) they are vile.

so they drank you done, brought 3 more bottles to drink and wanted to be given the money for the stuff they drank?

We had a similar situation once and things never recovered. Thank god.

I'm so glad you overcooked their steaks.

I'm pretty sure they'll look to take their beers home. They don't sound one bit embarrassed by their behaviour.

As they think @SeriouslyLosingTheWill runs a hotel, I propose leaving them a tray with two croissants, a teaspoonful of butter and two glasses of OJ outside their room for tomorrow's breakfast. Preferably unwrapped so they are nice and stale/warm/melted. Bonus points for being slobbered over by a dog or cat.

Then get up and cook yourself bacon butties. If they say anything just say you assumed they would prefer the breakfast items they had purchased.

Wow OP and well done. We live in a holiday area and after a good few years of this type of nonsense we said to everyone, close family included, that it was a max of 1 person for 3 days. Anything else you have to stay in a hotel.

They didn't always like it, but it saved our sanity! People can be such piss takers!

Even now if anyone says they would like to visit, my first question is 'oh lovely, where will you be staying?'

I'm feeling a bit  that I went to the effort to post, couldn't and didn't know why until after I'd realised the posts had gone over 1000! 
Anyhow, as I said (before I grew another brain cell and realised what was happening):
I've always said that when I die, I should be matyred as a saint (I hope no-one is offended by that, none is intended), and I should be known thenceforth as Saint Vipers the Patient.
However, @SeriouslyLosingTheWill, I am satisfied that you thoroughly deserve that crown, so shall defer to you!
