This reminds me of something my DH always shouts at action movies: ‘Confirm the kill’! You don’t walk away when they are wounded as they will always get back up. Second shot to the head and make sure they are dead.

Right now the Tory’s are seriously wounded but the job is not done. They have set this country up for next level economic Armageddon. In a year or so we’ll be looking back at the number of food banks we have today and calling these the good old days. They need to stay and own it so the red wallers and others see who is responsible and ensure they are gone for at least a generation.

I don't think so tbh. I think Boris will be forced to go but the country at large is wedded to toryism. Remember when the idea of broadband being a national right was floated and people thought that an absolutely absurd idea? Or the idea of magic money trees and so forth. Thing is the Brits in my view are wedded to misery i.e. no-one should have anything nice if I can't either.

What I do want is a party that can do things long term, looks after the environment and that includes people that actually look after it for peanuts and doesn’t expand the inequality gap between rich and poor ( and justifies it with - it’s not a race to the bottom).
