Fuming at this guy in the supermarket

I was in the supermarket this evening and I went to pick up a bottle of fabric conditioner. It was from a good brand and very cheap on offer. A big bottle for a cheap price. It was also the last one of that particular fragrance on the shelf. As I reached out to take it from the shelf, I had almost got it when a guy came by the side of me and grabbed it. He then went over to a girl who I presume was his girlfriend and gave it to her. Presumably, she has asked him to get it for her. I was absolutely fuming. I picked my jaw up off the floor said 'You fucking cunt' and walked off.

You could perhaps have asked the assistants if there were any more in the back instead of being uncouth and abusive.

I mean, cunt is used quite casually around my area so wouldn't have batted an eyelid. Probably would have laughed and shrugged if you said it to me.
I also would have thought the same thing. But definitely not aggressively.

The point was that he grabbed something quickly that he could see I was reaching for. I would have been annoyed if it was any product. It was more annoying because it was the last bottle.

Two things : It's not yours til it's in your trolley, and whilst you might think it was obvious you were reaching for it, it might not have been to him. And using such vile language is a massive over reaction anyway.
