Fuming at this guy in the supermarket

I was in the supermarket this evening and I went to pick up a bottle of fabric conditioner. It was from a good brand and very cheap on offer. A big bottle for a cheap price. It was also the last one of that particular fragrance on the shelf. As I reached out to take it from the shelf, I had almost got it when a guy came by the side of me and grabbed it. He then went over to a girl who I presume was his girlfriend and gave it to her. Presumably, she has asked him to get it for her. I was absolutely fuming. I picked my jaw up off the floor said 'You fucking cunt' and walked off.

AIBU for saying that?

OP, @beastlyslumber 's longer post is really good advice. There is so much that a MN armchair psychologist could pick apart, and I would normally have zero patience or time for anyone who hurls abuse at someone else in a supermarket - but I think there's a lot more going on here, and I really do think that you should take this as a bit of a wake-up call.

Men as a whole aren't horrible. They are generally looking for the same things as we are looking for in a man: basically pleasant and hygienic, kind, tolerant, reasonable sense of humour, willing to accept a bit of crap from our partner every now and then, committed to the relationship, decent parent. They don't care if you wear glasses or contact lenses, or whether you're fat or thin, or what clothes you wear. Well, there may be men who care about that, but they're actually a tiny minority, and they're not the ones you want to settle down with.

You are still very young, and there is still time to turn this around.
