Has anyone been finding it hard to find stick deodorant? None available in my local Boots or Sainsburys- is there some deodorant shortage I haven’t read about?

Yes! My fil doesn't like any other sort of deodorant and we've been hunting for ages now to find one he likes because his usual brand seems to now only do roll on! No idea why they seem to have stopped making them...

Very few in my local supermarket too, I bought a different brand but wondered why there were so few.

bog standard men’s sure. Although it was out if stock online and I bought some other brand which does the job but bloody hell it’s over fragranced. What happens when you buy womens.

Ha! It's not just me losing the plot then?! Have looked in Boots, Morrisons, B&M, Asda and Superdrug for weeks but not a one to be found!

Yes same here. I normally order Dove or Sure with my Tesco shopping but they haven’t had any for a few weeks. They have roll on, and cream, but not the stick one I like.

Not noticed any shortage but watch out for Sanex changing to a deodorant rather than antiperspirant.

Looking at the results of searching on t’interweb, there are several articles about recalls in USA because of concerns about carcinogenic ingredients in some brand of antiperspirants, solid sticks and some sprays, but I didn’t find any similar in UK.

Yeah I've had it substituted on my online shop. Don't like the other types as much as hate the 'wet' feeling!

I thought it was just because Tesco were reducing the number of lines they carried! They haven't done the Nivea one I like for a while so I'd been getting it in Sainsbury's or Bodycare. Also noticed that the Sure one that my husband likes is no longer available in Tesco. Will have to stock up if I manage to find either.

I almost started this thread. While searching for Dove sticks, I noticed that the Asda listing for them said they were made in the Russian Federation... So I think they will be moving production elsewhere and then we'll be able to buy them again.

I had to buy a Nivea one in Superdrug yesterday - glad to hear you like them! Dove is my usual favourite.

What's the marina with stick deodorant? I've used Sure maximum for years.

Never had any issue finding it? Where do you live? Greenland or something? I use it. What's wrong with it anyway (some people seem to be against it.) How is spray deodorant any better? Or are some people suggesting we all go around ponging of sweat.

It had better stay around. It's the only type I can get my autistic daughter to use, as she hates the wet stuff.

I use Wild, its a subscription service, you reuse the container so less waste. I like it.

Order from Amazon, not next day delivery and some have to be purchased in 3/4 packs
