To think he should ask for scraps?,

DH called into our local chippy after work tonight, kindly bought me a bag of chips... yet no scraps (batter!).

He NEVER asks for scraps or claims they never have any...i mean is it even worth having chips without scraps on the top??

Aibu to LTB?

So as not to dripfeed... DH does not have scraps, salt nor vinegar on his chips...

Always always scraps! The portions at ours are so huge that ds and I share a kids fish bites and chips and there’s still leftovers!

As I rarely even eat the batter on fish on the odd occasion I buy fish and chips, it wouldn’t occur to me to ask for scraps!

Northerner moved down to the south many years ago. My biggest regret is that they don’t do scraps down here. Bloody love scraps!

I've never had scraps but I live down south so maybe that's why. I have LOADS of salt and vinegar

I’m not that interested in scraps personally but cannot get over the fact that anyone could eat chips without salt and/or vinegar.

Well i mean most chippies will ask "do you want batter?" But ours you generally just ask... maybe i should give the owner a photo of DH with a note saying "always give this man scraps"

I am a northerner, living in the south now and I really miss northern chippies. But I have never heard of scraps.

Nope . Scraps don’t exist In chippies near me 🤢🤢. You need salt and vinegar though
