Much louder than Eunice ! Anyone else ??

Same! Am absolutely knackered but can't sleep, also irrationally (but maybe not!) anxious that something is going to get horrifically damaged or flooded!!

Also Cornwall and just over half an hour I was abruptly woken up by the LOUDEST thunder ever. It actually terrified me (not usually afraid of thunder). Way worse than Eunice.

Haven’t had that yet ! Just waiting for the power cut , we were out for 12 hours with Eunice !

West Cumbria. Can't sleep. I'm on a hill with the exposed part of my house directly in the path of the wind.

Can't believe we've only got a yellow warning. My house is shaking.

Same here in Co Clare Ireland we're on orange & it's much worse than Eunice & we were red for that 😏 being battered by rain & hail - given up trying to sleep for a bit 🤷‍♀️

I am in the north West and it is just a little draughty round here ! ( or blowing a hooly as my DGF would of said )
My road is a wind tunnel and I know there will be a heap of bins at the end of the road by now.

Dps just been rampaging round the street like an angry, oodie wearing ghost chasing a rattling can that was driving us up the wall.

It's blowing a hoolie out there, I can't hear myself think, let alone get to sleep.
DH has decamped to spare room because the light of my phone is keeping him awake

I’m in Scotland and the wind woke me up, my bins are all over the place.
We were on an amber weather warning for Eunice,……. It was nothing, there was hardly any wind where I am. There is no weather warning here for Franklin and the wind is terrible

It's really windy here. It was rough over the weekend (West Sussex) but I'm just really happy that the power has come back in this evening after going off on Friday morning.

I'm in Manchester and it is SO SO windy. It's whistling the windows. I'm in a women's refuge too and were on a group WhatsApp chat, think 7/15 of us are up with bloody Franklin

Also NW and being kept awake by howling outside.

I have a neighbour who still hasn’t taken her bins in since the collection on Friday. I pushed them right up against her gate so they wouldn’t get blown around, but these winds sound worse than Eunice’s winds, so they’re probably halfway to Bolton by now.

Yorkshire - it's worse here than the last few days. Hopefully we won't lose power this time. Really surprised how much windier it seems than the last 2 storms.

Midlands here;the wind is really loud;I live at the top of a hill and there's a long thin gap between our house and NDN and the same gap between the attached NDN and their NDN meaning the wind whips around the two houses and creates a horrible whistling noise.

Same here on west coast of Scotland. Wind been howling for hours and now we also have very loud thunder.

I'm in Yorkshire and this seems worse than Eunice, I didn't even realise it was Franklin now though.. Eunice was just a bit of drizzle and snow where as the wind is now pretty scary!
