Oh no. Poor you! I sleep thru anything. One storm years ago, my chimney collapsed....and yes....I slept thru it! Ten wild horses coulld run thru my bedroom. ! Sorry for all the folks with no power. Dont forget to prepare for next time.....

Dps just been rampaging round the street like an angry, oodie wearing ghost chasing a rattling can that was driving us up the wall.

Ahahaha!! Been there, done that, it rattles about, you're lying in bed under 2 duvets, a proper snuggly nest going on, window open and enjoying the sound of the wind howling through the trees while you're all tucked up and nesty, and a can starts rattling about. You ignore it, hoping it'll just blow away, 5 minutes later you're swearing down that it's doing it just to piss you off. 10 minutes later, knowing if you had one of your son's favourite Marvel character's super-powers you'd merk the thing out of existence, you trot downstairs in your jamas, chase it hoping the neighbours can't see you, knowing that they're thinking 'Thank fuck, that was doing my head in', go back upstairs having found it, re-nest in your bed growling to yourself and snuggle back in.
