He sponsored a turtle named PopTart for me. Best gift ever. Really showed he listened when I said I didn’t want anything and that he understands how much I love animals and conservation/rescue.

New PJ's, some cute dungarees, a game for my switch, candle and some nice stationary. My PiL however are another story. At least my husband knows me well unlike them.

Nothing. But he never buys me stuff. It is what it is.

What I requested: a box of my favourite chocolates and a heated throw (I shared links to a couple of examples).

What I received: two books about something that interests him, and an Amazon basics (unheated) throw.

Fortunately he is otherwise lovely; I felt slightly miffed for about five minutes and then got over it.
