I got a candle..

On the surface 'a candle' might appear a bit crap, but it's quite ambiguous really. Was it a posh Dippywhatnot's or Jo Malone type or Home Bargains thing?
Sorry if it wasn't what you had hoped.
I got a leather jacket and perfume.

Nothing. Yet. But it will be half a rowing machine when he finds one for a decent price on eBay 😂

We decided to just do stockings for each other this year. I got perfume, Charlotte Tilbury make up set, my fave Molton brown shower gel, a necklace I've wanted for a while, a couple of books, my favourite chocolates, a photography sphere lens and some crypto currency.

A pair of straighteners that I wanted. Since having our daughter 10 months ago, I've been massively down about the way I look. He always tells me that I'm beautiful though I never feel it. He said hes bought the straighteners in the hope I'll start to make more of an effort to feel better about the way I look and realise how beautiful I actually am (I know it sounds soppy but hes such a loving husband )

A bottle of Chanel No 5 and a handbag. He asked what I wanted, so I gave him various options on a bag and said he could choose and then it would be a surprise. He did good.

Nothing, we decided not to do presents.

Lots of books I asked for. Very happy.

I got some walking boots, thermal walking trousers and some chocolate. That's because we got a dog in May and my legs/feet were getting cold on the early morning dog walk before work. This morning's dog walk was significantly warmer.

A music stand for my ipad and some BalanceMe moisturiser and serum, both of which I asked for and i'm very pleased with :)

Nothing but we decided a few years back that we would dine out instead of presents as neither of us want anything and if we do we typically buy it at the time we want it.

Nothing yet. Every year we pool our present money together and get something we both want for the house in the sales. Last year was a tumble dryer, the year before was a new TV. We're thinking we might be extra frivolous this year and have a weekend away instead. It's probably not very romantic, but we're happy with this arrangement, and it saves secretly resenting a bad present choice all Christmas.

I got a candle..

Galaxy buds, a smartwatch, a pair of trainers, gin, fizz and a candle. I bought him good quality gloves, a fleece, a bottle of good scotch and a pair of trainers. We're both happy 😊

Some socks and a face cream. He did well actually as there have been some expensive disasters in the past.

Jo malone perfume , bracelet,earrings dressing gown and slippers. He's got good taste .
