goldenoldie1 · 19/12/2021 22:17

Top three options if that was the limit for Xmas dinner?

Mine is probably parsnips, nice carrots and broccoli.

I know I'm going to change my mind when I see other responses.

Roasties
Sprouts
Turnip

FortunesFave · 19/12/2021 22:18

Potatoes, sprouts and parsnips. Broccoli is too everyday to include! As are carrots. Potatoes are too important to leave out.

RJnomore1 · 19/12/2021 22:18

Brussels sprouts. Done with chestnuts.
Cauliflower cheese
Honey and orange glazed carrots.

Ohhhh but the braised red cabbage!!

AppleKatie · 19/12/2021 22:18

Parsnips, onion and potato (I’m assuming we’re counting potato)

oviraptor21 · 19/12/2021 22:18

Sprouts, celeriac , cauliflower cheese.

Sparklingbrook · 19/12/2021 22:19

I think your three are probably the best, although I like cauliflower and although I like a sprout they don't really like me.

RJnomore1 · 19/12/2021 22:19

Potatoes surely do not count as they are not one of your five a day 🤞🏻

AppleKatie · 19/12/2021 22:19

Ohh and red cabbage how could I forget that? Ok ditch the onion.

RadioSixMusicLover · 19/12/2021 22:19

Obviously not counting potatoes:

Same as you OP, roasted parsnips and carrots, and broccoli.

Unless we're counting potatoes, in which case I'll have 3 helpings of roast potatoes.
