Well who was the bigger person there.
How the might have fallen.
Awful woman. Good bloody riddance. Now we just need to get rid of the lot of emAngry

LittleMG · 09/12/2021 08:56

I don’t feel bloody sorry for her! I do think she’s taken the fall but hey, you play with fire…

Hobnobsandbroomstick · 09/12/2021 08:57

She can get fucked.

Iggly · 09/12/2021 08:57

I agree.
She is a nasty woman, part of a nasty party. They’re all friends and friends tend to have similar attitudes.

I imagine she decided to take the fall for Boris and his stupid fucking “chums”.

RedToothBrush · 09/12/2021 08:59

She looked dreadful on that video. Its undeniable. She had to go.

However she wasn't at the party.

The bloke in the video with her, hasn't resigned.
The partygoers haven't resigned.
Those other people in senior positions who knew about the party haven't resigned.

She really is a scapegoat still.

ItsSnowJokes · 09/12/2021 08:59

I have never felt sorry for her, she is an entitled, privileged twat. She laid down with dogs (to get 125k a year for a non job) and she came out with fleas. More heads should role but I think it's unlikely as senior tories think just the 1 head is enough on this. All a bunch of self serving, money grabbing cunts.

Tillsforthrills · 09/12/2021 09:01

Totally agree that she’s been chosen as the scapegoat.

Others need to resign, starting with Boris.

I don't feel sorry for her. She needed to step down after what she said in that video about the party, and this also highlights that she shouldn't have been in the role. But I do think that she wasn't responsible for the party happening and that other people should have been sacked/resigned as well.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/12/2021 09:02

I agree with Red. I don't feel sorry for her, and the video is awful. But she should not be the only one to go.

Userno63637348 · 09/12/2021 09:03

Wtaf! She probably comes from privilege and doesn't know what it's like to live in the real world!

DaisyNGO · 09/12/2021 09:03

But that's literally why she was hired.
DaisyNGO · 09/12/2021 09:04

I mean, she knows that. Everyone who has done any PR work knows that. She'll just appear on the government payroll again.

Westfacing · 09/12/2021 09:05

She was very sneering towards that young working mother, who composed herself really well.

YetAnotherManicMonday1234 · 09/12/2021 09:07

She’s the scapegoat for sure, but still no sympathy from me, she made her bed now she’s laying in it.

Paddingtonthebear · 09/12/2021 09:10

She’s either taking one for the team or she is easier to bully out than more senior people. Can’t say I feel sorry for her either way, I’m sure she will find another job.

Mistlewoeandwhine · 09/12/2021 09:11

Horrible woman. I’m glad she was blubbing BUT there has been at least one party and anyone in government who knew about them or attended them should go. They work for us. They are not our superiors.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/12/2021 09:11

I think she's maybe taking one for the team, which is even more reason for someone they don't want to leave to go.

BlameItOnTheBlackStar · 09/12/2021 09:11

That's the job; when the government looks bad, you take the fall.

That said, the entire government is a barrel of cunts, and it takes some doing to appear like one of the worst. Underqualified undeserving friends promoted to high places everywhere you turn.

Their time really is up. I hope.

girlmom21 · 09/12/2021 09:11

Does anyone actually feel sorry for her?

Musicalmaestro · 09/12/2021 09:13

Tillsforthrills
I had actually started feeling sorry for her, so thank you for providing me with this reality check.

3scape · 09/12/2021 09:14

She's very pro people remaining in abusive situations because it's "their choice" too. Quite honestly Id like to see her become an untouchable employee but she won't. She knows very well how to get what she wants.

Malibuismysecrethome · 09/12/2021 09:15

I wonder who paid for her house and if she lived with her parents until she could afford one.

Sick of people who are obviously wealthy telling others how they should live. We used to have the right to a council home if you couldn’t afford your own property. Not anymore thanks to that other Tory, Margaret Thatcher.

tallduckandhandsome · 09/12/2021 09:15

Do we know that Boris wasn’t there?

I would have thought the reason they were so brazen was that Bojo was there or senior Tories?

Malibuismysecrethome · 09/12/2021 09:16

I thought she might have been crying for Arthur but no, it was herself she was weeping for.

Bagamoyo1 · 09/12/2021 09:17

What a nasty bunch they all are.

I mean, they were practising a theoretical press conference, just a handful of people there, presumably all government employees? And one of them decided to leak the film. I very much doubt this was done as an act of conscience. I suspect someone was out to get Allegra, and probably not a fan of Boris either.
I’m not losing any sleep over that though!
