That's an appalling video - at "fights" Stratton clearly understood that there was an unsustainable and potentially unsafe living environment. It's obvious this poor woman was trying to say this without airing her most personal business on camera.

I would have thought the reason they were so brazen was that Bojo was there or senior Tories?

We don't know for sure, but the allegation is that the party was for No.10 staff - civil servants, advisors, officials - not for politicians. I wonder if Dominic Cummings was one of those present.

I have never felt sorry for her, she is an entitled, privileged twat. She laid down with dogs (to get 125k a year for a non job) and she came out with fleas. More heads should role but I think it's unlikely as senior tories think just the 1 head is enough on this. All a bunch of self serving, money grabbing cunts.

Well she had just been publicly humiliated and forced to resign I don't feel sorry for her but can understand she would be upset I'm not sure why she be crying for the murder of a child she had never met in that particular instance.

She looked dreadful on that video. Its undeniable. She had to go.

However she wasn't at the party.

The bloke in the video with her, hasn't resigned.
The partygoers haven't resigned.
Those other people in senior positions who knew about the party haven't resigned.

She really is a scapegoat still.

There was no party, no rules were broken, no reason for her to go or anyone else.

So we are all be assured !

I’m willing to bet that Allegra Stratton has never claimed housing benefit.

Don’t feel sorry for her but it’s unfair that the other people, the ones at the party, the ones at the practice press briefing, jrm who was filmed in a similar “joke”, and those who giggled alongside, and BJ whose fecking house the party was is in are just swanking around pretending they don’t know anything about it.

I’m so pleased that you posted this as, I too, was feeling sorry for her.

It does piss me off that a woman is paying for this though. I want to know who it was in that crowd in the video. I’ve heard on one of the morning chatshows that perhaps Jacob Reece Mogg was there? They all need to fuck off in all honesty. They are a nasty party and there’s hardly anybody in the cabinet that I see fit to take over BJ.

I think Kier needs replacing too whilst I’m on a rant as he should have wiped the floor with them on this. Angela Raynor would have done much better I’m sure.

But must say the woman handled herself well. Don’t think I would have been so restrained!

I don’t know anyone that’s feeling sorry for her, I certainly don’t and I also agree others need to be held accountable for the whole shit show, not just her!

The young mother in the video is wonderfully composed and dignified in the face of Stratton's vile sneering. There's no reason at all to feel sorry for her. She'll bounce back just fine, thank you very much, with no need to beg for a bed in a relative's already-cramped accommodation.

Yes, of course she's being scapegoated. If No 10 think that brings the matter to a close, they are very much mistaken.

A party was held at Boris Johnson's house.
2 options either he didn't know (really? It's his house ffs)
Or he was there and fully aware.
The man is a self entitled twat with no regard for the common person. None of this government give one single fuck about anyone else.
They don't care about you or I.
I've watched a clip of Rees Mogg talking at a party laughing and joking. He should go.

That poor woman in the OP video. The look in her eyes as Stratton was laying into her. Also, how privileged does Stratton sound? Without knowing the woman's situation, and her mother's, how can anyone say, "You and your child should just go and live in your mum's spare bedroom." If only it were that simple for many people out there.
Stratton lives in Canonbury, judging by the bit of the house shown in the crying video it looks like one of the five story several millions plus a piece numbers. Maybe she should be asked to justify that amount of space for two adults and two children. Horrible woman, like all the Boris /Carrie cronies given a publicaly funded job based on who you know not ability.
