To counter the bs that labour are crap I suggested that Lisa Nandy as minister for levelling up is far superior to Gove. That Emily Thornberry, Chris Bryant and Thangam Debonnaire are as good as, if not better than their opposites and are hardly loony lefties That Starmer may be dull and sensible but is as honest and decent as Theresa May of John Major. But the morally bankrupt shower in government at the moment, that has destroyed multiple industries - mining, fishing, steel, that has stripped the country's infrastructure to the bone, lied, fiddled millions, is somehow better than the Labour Party. If anyone bothered to do research, they'd see that the party was attempting to change and appeal to the aspirational w/c, business owners and young people too. Rather people just repeat tired old cliches.

I'll bite. I don't think labour at the moment are brilliant but I do think that any member of the labour party is better than any (current) Tory. If you still support the conservatives (or are a Tory MP) then you have proven that you are just an opportunistic and selfish chancer.

I do think that labour and keir starmer could and should be a more effective opposition..it seems that they are trying so hard to.become popular again that they are scared to say anything at all...and might be slipping towards populism as well. Because that's what wins votes.

Your first example is woeful. Yes Gove is crap but Nandy thinks any rapists who self identifies as a women should be placed in the female prison estate. Her lack of critical thinking skills and lack of compassion for women is shocking. She should be nowhere near government

New Labour was slightly comparable to old Tory maybe but even Tony Blair for all his faults was a saint compared to current shit show running this country. And Gordon brown I think is genuinely a moral and ethically sound person who wants what's best for this country. Just imagine what they UK could have been like if he'd won the election in 2010.

If recommend the BBC documentary on Blair and brown. Forgot the name of it but it's fascinating and it really made me miss labour.

Maybe Labour can DISCUSS what defines a woman. Let me know when they have an answer that matches reality.

I agree with everything else but theresa may was neither decent nor honest. She was responsible for the hostile environment for starters. She drew these crazy red lines and came up with the brexit means brexit nonsense in spite of being a remainer purely to retain power. She's got no morals or integrity. I do feel sorry for how she was treated by the media and her own party but she is not a good person.
