YANBU He's lying, there was a party.

No.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/12/2021 22:11

If his lips are moving, he's lying. So no, I don't believe him.

LadyCatStark · 07/12/2021 22:11

I don’t believe any of them. They’re like robots, “There was no party. All guidelines were followed” (please read that in a robot voice).

Wimpeyspread · 07/12/2021 22:12

I wouldn’t believe Boris Johnson if he said it was Tuesday

FreedomFaith · 07/12/2021 22:13

I'm not sure I would believe him if he said the sky is blue. I'd have to check to be sure he wasn't lying.

CaputApriDefero · 07/12/2021 22:13

Yanbu

Of course there was a party. Just as there was a trip to Barnard Castle (where they totally coincidentally are making 60 million vaccine doses) and just as there were multiple flouting of rules to grope side pieces, make business deals, do whatever the hell they liked.....

VirusgonnaVirus · 07/12/2021 22:13

All the above

Notonthestairs · 07/12/2021 22:14

There wasn't a party.

There were parties.

WimpoleHat · 07/12/2021 22:14

I don’t believe anything Boris Johnson says, but this is one of the more blatant lies. Loving the way he ones who will be interviewed fall over themselves to get in “I wasn’t there….”. There’s more to come on this, I reckon. There’ll be photos/more footage etc. He’ll lie and lie and get caught out big time.

480Widdio · 07/12/2021 22:15

Boris Johnson is a compulsive liar.If he’s talking he’s lying.

3scape · 07/12/2021 22:15

If Boris said it was raining I'd look outside. The man is not acquainted with a notion of truth.

521Jeanie · 07/12/2021 22:15

The man, or rather the entire government, is a fucking disgrace.

Scarby9 · 07/12/2021 22:15

No.
He is a gaslighter par excellence.
I am waiting for him to say he has drawn a line under it and moved on.

WimpoleHat · 07/12/2021 22:15

Particularly like this from Have I Got News For You….

Do you believe Boris Johnson when he says there was no Christmas party?
ExcaliburBaby · 07/12/2021 22:16

Praying for someone leaking video/pics. We couldn’t hold a wake for my lovely FIL in late November last year. But they could hold a party. It’s sickening.

Confrontayshunme · 07/12/2021 22:16

He is clearly lying, buy he will get away with it, so in this post modern world, it literally doesn't matter whether he is telling the truth or not.

DeclareThePenniesOnYourEyes · 07/12/2021 22:16

Mate, if Boris Johnson told me to take an umbrella out because it was raining, I’d have to poke my head out to check. The man wouldn’t know the truth if it hit him in the face, just ask his first and second wives!

tiredanddangerous · 07/12/2021 22:16

BoJo wouldn't acknowledge the truth if it kicked him in the cock.

Hobnobsandbroomstick · 07/12/2021 22:16

Do I fuck.

Who actually believes a word Boris Johnson says? Probably only his poor 3rd wife atm, and that won't last long.

bloodyhoodedeyes · 07/12/2021 22:17

There is a video going viral right now, it was classed as a business meeting, with wine and cheese and they didn't stick to guidelines.

The press were wrapping up an interview and caught it.

HangingDitch · 07/12/2021 22:17

Of course I don’t believe him.

If they’d just admitted it and apologised it would’ve been yesterday’s news by now. However, they seem utterly incapable of telling the truth or showing any contrition.

SickAndTiredAgain · 07/12/2021 22:17

Of course he’s lying. I don’t think anyone believes him. I know some people don’t care, but I don’t think anyone believes it didn’t happen. Even the MPs he’s got parading around like parrots repeating “all guidelines were followed all guidelines were followed”

Antsinmypantsneedtodance · 07/12/2021 22:19

Don't believe him but tbh couldn't care less.

If they partied good for them. Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

521Jeanie · 07/12/2021 22:19

Do not tell me there isn't a police log of who is in the building at any time?
Let's assume there must be. Why did the police not step in and stop it?

My friend's son was fined a huge sum for having a small student party at a similar time. She is beyond livid that he was punished so harshly at the same time that all these shenanigans were going on at no10.

minou123 · 07/12/2021 22:19

It's not funny, but it is comical that all these ministers are saying "I wasn't there".

Was the party full of drugs, sex and rock and roll that they now can't remember the night?
