Just saying 'I wasn't there' is not sufficient. He is the leader. When questions are asked in parliament - that could lead him into charges of 'deliberately' misleading the house.... then he is surely REQUIRED to go to number 10 and find out who was ACTUALLY there.
Honestly - we are accepting that if a man closes his eyes and shouts I can't see you .. that this is the highest level of competency we an expect !!

I have been enjoying recent local by-election results, they will be worrying a lot of MPs and wider party members. This week the Tories lost to Labour, Greens and Lib Dems.

I would love them to lose N Shropshire but it is a very hard seat to overturn. They picked a strange choice of candidate though, I know they are a doctor but they have few local connections.
