Never apologise/never explain.

Their strategy in anything.

Never apologise/never explain.

Their strategy in anything.

Apparently this is a rule in the Eton handbook. Never apologise it shows weakness.

He just has to go. If he had a shred of anything resembling any decency he should resign.

Who the hell in their right minds votes for these hideous and despicable people. AngryAngryAngry

Cherrytart23 · 08/12/2021 09:55

@goodgollygosh23

Obviously not. They are laughing at us, taking us for utter mugs and yet still people vote for them.
Has their been another vote and I missed it? Counting down the days till we can vote altho no idea who I'll be voting for aslong as we can get this bumbling mess out.
Justheretoaskaquestion91 · 08/12/2021 10:11

Allegra Stratton looks like a pathetic twat, giggling and simpering about this illegal pisstaking party as if it’s clever.

Honestly, unpopular on here but I’ve always been a conservative voter. Fuck, I even liked Boris when he was Mayor. But this is all just a sick joke. The behaviour over the last 2/3 years has been an absolute wind up and every thing he does seem to be the final nail in the coffin and yet he is still here?! HOW IS HE STILL HERE?!?! twatface

CovidCorvid · 08/12/2021 10:16

There’s a by election coming up soon and the bets are that the Tory candidate will get in so yes people are still voting for them.

LetHimHaveIt · 08/12/2021 10:47

'Honestly, unpopular on here but I’ve always been a conservative voter. Fuck, I even liked Boris when he was Mayor.'

Well he was a fucking useless mayor, so why you're surprised that he's proving unfit to lead the country, is truly baffling.

LizzieW1969 · 08/12/2021 10:47

No, of course I don’t believe him. As others have said, if his lips are moving he’s lying.

Justheretoaskaquestion91 · 08/12/2021 10:48

Well he was a fucking useless mayor, so why you're surprised that he's proving unfit to lead the country, is truly baffling

I don’t agree with that but the aggression directed towards me for having a different opinion snd then also admitting I was wrong about him is a bit much!

LetHimHaveIt · 08/12/2021 10:54

Not particularly aggressive. Just astonished. I use 'fucking' as a means of emphasis, not aggression. I'm very much not alone in that.

He was unarguably a useless mayor - spunking money on absurd vanity projects like the Garden Bridge, because Lumley flashed him a toothy grin or two. Fucking up the unfuckable: 'Boris Bikes' (not his idea, obviously) had proved successful in every other country which had done them first. I believe London was unique in making a loss. Leaving office with more children living in poverty than when he arrived. Fucking useless.

That is not an aggressive comment, it just has a rudey word in it!

Well there was the bexley by-election last week that the Tories won.

But there’s Owen Patterson’s seat being voted on next week. So fingers crossed for North Shropshire!
Although I doubt turn out for a by election a week before Christmas will be particularly high.

rrhuth · 08/12/2021 11:00

@Exhausteddog

Its like Dominic Cummings and Barnard Castle all over again
It isn't. It is actually much worse.

I was absolutely livid about Cummings, and thought the stupid cover up was a disgrace, and he should have been sacked.

But at least Barnard Castle was one person making stupid/selfish decisions. Not a group of people taking the fucking piss and laughing. AFTER they saw how much damage had been done by teh Barnard castle debacle. And AFTER they knew how many people were going to die that winter Angry Angry Angry

Justheretoaskaquestion91 · 08/12/2021 11:14

Oh, well if he was unarguably useless I guess no point in saying why I liked him as mayor! Either way I’m regretting my support of him now

longwayoff · 08/12/2021 11:31

Boris mayor of London. Garden Bridge. Jennifer Arcuri, whose evidence is still to be heard.) Fabulous choice for PM obviously.

junglejane66 · 08/12/2021 12:16

I bet the Tories still win the next election

MorganKitten · 08/12/2021 12:17

He can’t tell the truth about anything anyway…

rrhuth · 08/12/2021 12:19

@junglejane66

I think they themselves are worried they will not...

We all await N Shropshire to see if the Lib Dems are detoxified enough to cause worries in the SW etc.

rrhuth · 08/12/2021 12:20

Sunak was giving Johnson a proper Paddington Bear hard stare in PMQs

KaptainKaveman · 08/12/2021 12:25

He really is the scum of the earth. If I met him IRL, I'd punch him hard and feel pretty fucking good about it.

VaulterTech · 08/12/2021 12:26

We know he’s broken the rules many times - look at him and Carrie having others to stay over Christmas. The man and the party are the lowest of the low.

I heard a caller to five live this morning, saying it was ok as they were all in a bubble like him and his neighbours were, and everyone he knew had pre Christmas drinks with their friends and family. That’s who vote for them so they don’t care!

HailAdrian · 08/12/2021 12:30

Nah, I said during the very first lockdown "I bet he's still getting his hair cut" and I stand by it.

Tessellation · 08/12/2021 12:32

I think what's even more sad than him lying is that so few people seem to care past shoulder shrugging acceptance.

We are now in a situation where he knows that too, so doesn't even really bother to address / excuse / justify / change the narrative. He doesn't have to. It really worries me that our societal norms have deteriorated so much in the past twenty, thirty years. Not so much in what we do - I think there have always been arseholes - but there is barely an attempt to pretend otherwise. And that - IMO - is down to a mixture of ignorance and apathy.

MorganKitten · 08/12/2021 12:33

That hair has never had a decent cut, I’d say he’d put a port and cheese night well above that mop being sorted.
SuperSange · 08/12/2021 12:41

I'd not believe him if he said my arse had a hole in it.

ArblemarchTFruitbat · 08/12/2021 12:42

Do you believe Boris Johnson when he says there was no Christmas party?

I wouldn't believe Boris Johnson if he told me the grass was green.
