YANBU He's lying, there was a party.

He's like a toddler who thinks if he closes his eyes, you can't see him.

Such a liar.

StoneofDestiny · 07/12/2021 22:43

He is lying as usual.

Prescottdanni123 · 07/12/2021 22:43

First there was no party. Now there was a party but none of them were there. Next, they'll be telling us that it was actually the Downing Street cat that had the party. He unlocked his cat flap and let in loads of his kitty cat mates for a wild Xmas disco. With wine, cheese, nibbles and a secret santa.

goodgollygosh23 · 07/12/2021 22:44

Obviously not.
They are laughing at us, taking us for utter mugs and yet still people vote for them.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 07/12/2021 22:45

If Boris Johnson said it was raining I would check out of the window. I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

Kendodd · 07/12/2021 22:46

I don't caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare

We that's exactly why we have so much lying from this government. It's our fault.

The best predictor of someone's behaviour is their previous behaviour. . And Boris has lied a lot, in lots of settings..

derxa · 07/12/2021 22:48

It's so trivial. So many other serious issues to investigate
Cherrytart23 · 07/12/2021 22:48

The only time boris has spoke and it wasn't a lie is when he said peppa pig world is good.

Wafflesnsniffles · 07/12/2021 22:49

I dont believe or respect almost anything he says. Or his cronies

logsonlogsoff · 07/12/2021 22:50

It’s got to the point with the PM if he stood up
and announced his name was Boris I’m not sure I’d believe him. He’s amoral. He thinks he’s better than the rest of us, he’s been raised to believe that, and as a result has no problem whatsoever lying to us over and over again.

Kendodd · 07/12/2021 22:53

It's so trivial. So many other serious issues to investigate

And he lies constantly about those as well. He get away with it because his supporters don't care (or believe) his lies.
Politics was never like this in the past.

His names not Boris.

OP posts:
genome · 07/12/2021 22:56

Technically his name isn't Boris, so you'd be right he was lying!

sst1234 · 07/12/2021 22:56

The question is whether we think he’s lying, because all the evidence tells a story. The question is would we are prepared to follow all the rules like good little docile subjects when clearly the rule makers do not feel the need to follow them. To be honest you’d have to be mug to follow any rules given this development.

ClementineWardobe · 07/12/2021 22:57

@logsonlogsoff I agree - and sadly he is known to close friends and family by his real first name Alex (Alexander).

Boris is a middle name, an act, a delusion.

Platax · 07/12/2021 22:57

Of course he's lying.

He needs to resign, immediately.

logsonlogsoff · 07/12/2021 23:01

‘ @logsonlogsoff I agree - and sadly he is known to close friends and family by his real first name Alex (Alexander).

Is that a joke??? Is he really? Fucking hell.

logsonlogsoff · 07/12/2021 23:02

Well why the bell is he announced as PM Boris Johnston then???? When did he go from he real name to Boris?

Notonthestairs · 07/12/2021 23:03

Surely a basic expectation of any government is that they abide by the laws they introduce?

What other laws are people ok with them ignoring? Or is it just this one?

It's not trivial for those people why complied and lost valuable time with family andfriends. Businesses that buckled under repeated lockdowns. Jobs that were lost. Mental health battered by loneliness.

Of course there are many other issues that warrant investigation. The good news is that we don't have to limit ourselves to just one!

logsonlogsoff · 07/12/2021 23:04

‘ It's so trivial. So many other serious issues to investigate’

Is it? What happened to we’re all in it together? It’s more one rule
For them and another for the rest of us, as if we’re a bunch or idiots who deserve so little respect.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/12/2021 23:07

This song from two years ago sums up my response.

Malibuismysecrethome · 07/12/2021 23:19

It’s not trivial at all. We could only see a beloved uncle for 5 minutes during his last days as that is all the time we were allowed to visit. We were not allowed to hold a wake or even a funeral tea at his funeral. I gave people take out bags to take home. It’s fucking disgusting if he was holding a party at this time.

I’ve noticed a lot more enforcement officers where I live lately are they expecting to be able to fine us again.

HyacynthBucket · 07/12/2021 23:22

Of course I don't believe him, because he lies and lies and lies about everything. I no longer believe a single word he utters, and have got to the point where I have to leave the room when he is on television as he disgusts me so much. I also think that because he is so dishonest, he has had a very detrimental effect on the morale of the country. People look at him, the prime minister, and see an incompetent, lazy liar who wastes public money and tries to fool the public, clearly having total contempt for them, and it is depressing for everyone.
