Should I 'lighten up' or would you be annoyed?

We live on the same road as my 3 childrens (10,9,7) school. We are directly across the road and the lollipop lady stands at our gate.

Everyone, including teachers comes past our house to get to and from school.

My husband changed the large let it snow sticker we had in our window so it says 'melon tits' on Thursday night
I didn't notice until I got home from work on Friday night. (I had some messages from people I know about it but can't check my personal phone at work. I have a work phone for emergencies)

Im not amused and I've taken it down.
He thinks it's funny and I should lighten up and put it back.

Very immature. Personally I'd eye roll and that would be it. Others would snigger, others still would be hugely offended and seek to cancel the person responsible.

It is sort of funny, but then I'm very immature. 'Melon tits' isn't desperately amusing out of any context though. I think he wasn't wrong as such to do it, and you weren't wrong to take it down.

I'd be embarrassed that I was married to someone so immature. If I saw that in someone's window I wouldn't think - oh look at that clever person who has turned the w from snow into an m so they can make melon tits from the letters of 'let it snow'. I'd just see 'melon tits' and think - they're fucking weird and inappropriate right next to a primary school.
