The UK is a wonderful place to live

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, why would anyone want to be anywhere else. In fact the 1000s of migrants arriving everyday are a clear indication of how wonderful the UK is under the stewardship of the wise and entertaining Boris Johnson. Just think how awful it would be if Jeremy Corbyn was PM wearing cardigans and still searching for the magic money tree.
Everything is great, the UK is wonderful.

"Stewardship of the wise and entertaining Boris Johnson"

😂

It’s not wonderful, it’s just better than many other places because we get things free when others don’t.

Well if we didn't have Boris, we might have Kier, and who wants someone who is mature, sensible and pragmatic whinning on all the time.

The UK is wonderful, we have Boris, no one else has anyone close to his skill set.

Which is why the UK is such a wonderful place to live, the sun is shining the birds are singing, what more could one want in the world?

OP do you wake up like this every morning, or are you not yet in bed after the night before. I recommend a big glass of water and a lengthy nap.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 10/10/2021 09:24

Are you still drunk from last night?

jgw1 · 10/10/2021 09:24

I am not sure I understand what I mean. Why wouldn't I wake up every morning delighted to be fortunate enough to call the UK home. As I sit here now the sun is shining and a flock of crows are circling.

No, didn't have a drop of anything last night. Why would you think that? Just watched that wonderful British show Strictly come dancing, with all those amazing Brits on it. Makes the heart sing.

It's a murder of crows.

Seems apt in this case

Reallyimeanreally2022 · 10/10/2021 09:27

Totally and utterly agree
I love this country

Butchyrestingface · 10/10/2021 09:27

This shtick was irritating straight out the gate, OP. It’s not going to improve on further posting.

Isn't the English language a wonderful think. Makes one happy to have given such a language to the world.

Looks like Our Dear Leader Bo Jo Song 🇨🇳 has found comrade corbyn’s money tree though.

RandomLondoner · 10/10/2021 09:28

Yes I'm pretty happy with it, more or less as happy as I've been for all of the 35 years since I arrived. The most annoying thing about it as the whiny vocal minority who think it's the job of politicians to make their life better, instead of relying on themselves.

I hear the same complaints about conservative politicians now as I did 35 years ago, but funnily enough, nothing was really very different when the other party was in power. It's almost as if politicians don't have it within their power to solve the problems of the kind of people who expect them to make their lives better.

Postdatedpandemic · 10/10/2021 09:28

A crow just ripped the guts out of an injured pigeon in the middle of my lawn. It wasn't wearing a cardigan, amazing.

PlanDeRaccordement · 10/10/2021 09:28

I think you mean a murder of crows are circling...

Lex345 · 10/10/2021 09:28

"A flock of crows are circling" is a wonderful metaphor actually.

Do these crows have blue ties and a faintly mancunian accent from a recent trip?

MerryMarigold · 10/10/2021 09:28

Very amusing OP!

WallaceinAnderland · 10/10/2021 09:28

Haha

There is still a residue of mist here this morning and a hint of auburn autumn in the early morning air before the sun filters through to warm the freshly mowed lawn. What a wonderful place to live.

Reallyimeanreally2022 · 10/10/2021 09:28

My children are happy and healthy
Go to wonderful schools
I went for a beautiful run this morning in early sun
I adore the town I live in in south east. Lots of amenities plus lots of natural beauty
And my job is perfect for me
My GP surgery is first rate

Life is good in this country

Shame you don’t master it better then.
PS you’re embarrassing yourself, ask MN to delete, delete, delete.

Take a look out of the window, take in the air, go through the gate and discover our amazing country. Amazing every day.
