Would I be unreasonable to leave it out there til the morning?

🙈

You should know that the standard Mumsnet response is that it will get darked on. Never mind the spider willies!

RestingPandaFace · 12/05/2021 19:45

YWNBU...if you cope with spiders rubbing their willies on it Grin

EndoplasmicReticulum · 12/05/2021 19:46

That and it's raining.

Pumpkyumpkyumpkin · 12/05/2021 19:48

Bbbbuttttt......the darkkk! Confused

raffle · 12/05/2021 19:48

But it won’t be dry in the morning will it? It’ll be damper (and darked on)

shouldistop · 12/05/2021 19:48

That and it's raining

Amazing that you know where op lives and the weather there at the moment Grin

DriftingTurtles · 12/05/2021 19:49

😂😂😂

lalalapurple · 12/05/2021 19:50

I would leave it.

Stevearnottsbeard · 12/05/2021 19:50

I'm risking the spider Willie's on my towels, they're too wet now and as I have washing already drying inside I've nowhere to put them so they will have to be darkened on (not that I know what that means! 🤷🏻‍♀️)

RightYesButNo · 12/05/2021 19:52

I mean, it really depends on how you feel about this maths equation:

  • your linens
  • darked on
  • monstrous spiders’ cocks ————————- = your linens overnight
MerryAnton · 12/05/2021 19:52

....Darked on?!

Somanysocks · 12/05/2021 19:52

Noooooooo!!!

Orangedaisy · 12/05/2021 19:54

I left mine out overnight the other day and it was obviously not dry in the morning as it’s not warm enough yet....but it was dry by lunchtime and saved a massive faff bringing it in all half dry.

thistimelastweek · 12/05/2021 19:54

It's not going to dry overnight. It will just get colder.

So, unless you have a favourable forecast for tomorrow, bring it in now.

AnyWhore · 12/05/2021 19:56

Spiders with ginormous cocks mating on and in your towels. Just think you'll have baby spiders in no time at all. You are providing an important service for spiders, well done.

3Britnee · 12/05/2021 19:59

@raffle

But it won’t be dry in the morning will it? It’ll be damper (and darked on)
Yeah that's what I'm worried about.

You know you are being unreasonable.
It will get darked on which is the worst thing ever.

ozymandiusking · 12/05/2021 20:01

The weather forecast is saying that it's going to be very unsettled showers etc for the next few days. Spiders, Darked on, MOTHS. Bring it in.

Bvop · 12/05/2021 20:04

Darked on

3Britnee · 12/05/2021 20:06

The shame of looking so slovenly to the neighbours made me bring it in 😂

OP posts:
OiYouGetOffMyCloud · 12/05/2021 20:11

I frequently leave it out overnight! Especially the nappies - getting rained on is good for them.

I’m not bothered about spider cocks.

ShrikeAttack · 12/05/2021 20:12

I left mine put for two nights recently.

No shame.

Soubriquet · 12/05/2021 20:14

As long as you don’t mind giving birth to spider babies after the spider willies jizz on your pants

viques · 12/05/2021 20:16

If the OP is in the North the situation is complicated by reports that the Northern Lights might be visible tonight. I shudder to think what the combination of Northern Light activity, spider dicks and dark exposure could do to washing.

Would anyone risk it? I don’t think I would.

Forgottenyeti · 12/05/2021 20:17

Darked on.
