No. It's Italian. I'm not Italian.

Bipitybopityboop · 15/04/2021 22:57

Yanbu. Favourite takeaway, favourite ready meal s and favourite food to cook. Probably eat it 3 or 4 nights a week plus dahls, soups, masala eggs etc for lunches.

TimeForTeaAndG · 15/04/2021 23:01

Oh absolutely. There is just so much variation over all the regions. Am planning a takeaway for Saturday night actually.

nythbran2 · 15/04/2021 23:01

No, it's Chinese food. Szechuan, Lanzhou, Cantonese - all wonderfull

Fatladyslim · 15/04/2021 23:02

Nope it's japanese food. So fresh and mmmmmmm

EnglishGirlApproximately · 15/04/2021 23:03

Agree OP. I'm working my way through the Dishoom book and getting a bit obsessed with it, its just so flavoursome and varied. Also so much easier to cut doen on meat if you eat Indian food as the meat is generally the least interesting thing on the plate.

Pupster21 · 15/04/2021 23:04

Italian is the best cuisine.

PickAChew · 15/04/2021 23:06

This is where I document my Indian recipe book shelf. I have a few more as paperbacks on a shallower shelf and some more on order.

Italian food, followed by French & Japanese.

Bumberlee · 15/04/2021 23:06

All that onion gives terrible breath, gas and BO for days.

PickAChew · 15/04/2021 23:06

Dishoom is one of the books on order!

Justfornothing · 15/04/2021 23:09

YANBU. I'd eat it everyday if I could
😋

EnglishGirlApproximately · 15/04/2021 23:10

@PickAChew its fabulous. I've made so much out if it and everything is spot on. I'm getting a bit addicted to the Jeera biscuits! As well as the curry and biriyani etc recipes you'd expect there are some great veg sides and lunch ideas. Its a lovely read too.

whiteroseredrose · 15/04/2021 23:15

Thai actually. Spicy but fresh and crunchy

Isaidnope · 15/04/2021 23:16

It’s nice but I only really like it once a month at best. Prefer Italian and French cuisine personally. Also like Lebanese and Mexican more than Indian.

BadMudda · 15/04/2021 23:16

Agree. I've made some amazing meals too!

It's a fabulous book and such a great read.

cheezy · 15/04/2021 23:16

Indian always. Japanese never.

JaceLancs · 15/04/2021 23:18

Where do I start? I just love food!
I can think of amazing dishes from so many cuisines including English

Tillygetsit · 15/04/2021 23:19

I love ALL the food but Mexican is my favourite.

Lupinhere37 · 15/04/2021 23:20

Sorry op but I want a night out with @nythbran2 for a fabulous Chinese banquet. Indian is OK but Chinese.....would eat it every day!

Angrypregnantlady · 15/04/2021 23:21

Indian, Thai and Chinese. I couldn't pick one.

WhatssUpP · 15/04/2021 23:24

Turkish (I'm not talking about kebab shops I'm talking about their massive rich cuisine), Lebanese, Persian, Italian, Japanese and Indian. I can have Indian once a month, Japanese twice a month, Italian twice a week, Persian, Turkish and Lebanese every other day for the rest of my life.

DamnYouAutoCatRectal · 15/04/2021 23:26

I was going YANBU, as Indian food rocks. But then someone mentioned Italian and I realised life wouldn't be worth living without pizza and pasta. Then someone else said about Mexican and I can't really disagree with that, but I still have a lot of time for Chinese.

YABU for trying to choose one!

Clydesider · 15/04/2021 23:26

I agree, OP. Indian food is absolutely bursting with flavours and variety. I really should try some new dishes but I can't resist my regular favourites.
