Will you be spending 3 hours queuing to get into IKEA and another 2 hours trying to pay?

I'm desperate for some fabric so Dunelm or John Lewis for me

OP posts:
thesunwillout · 11/04/2021 09:52

Contemplating Dunelm, got some returns from November!

Lemons1571 · 11/04/2021 09:52

None I’m working. Need to get to shoe zone for kids trainers though. I really think kids shoe shops should’ve been allowed to stay open for fittings.

insancerre · 11/04/2021 09:54

I won’t be in any shops as I’m working
I’ve not really missed shops

bloodywhitecat · 11/04/2021 09:55

I need a dress to get married in so... I have 41 days until the ceremony and have nothing organised (registrar and venue excepted)

Littlefluffyclouds13 · 11/04/2021 09:55

Have a nail appointment booked first thing and that's it. I'm so excited!

MrsHastingslikethebattle · 11/04/2021 09:56

PRIMARK MONDAY, PUB TUESDAYGrin

KatherineJaneway · 11/04/2021 09:56

I'm working so none tomorrow but I am looking forward to getting back to John Lewis as I have some things I need to frame. Maybe on the weekend.

Shitzngiggles · 11/04/2021 09:56

Nails and hair booked in for tomorrow. Not really bothered about any particular shops.

Donatella · 11/04/2021 09:56

Decathlon for astro turf trainers for DD as her school has just opened a 3G pitch so they are now compulsory for PE 🤷‍♀️. Probably a few other bits while we are out.

Circumlocutious · 11/04/2021 09:57

Taking the toddler for a rampage around Waterstones.

Mumblechum0 · 11/04/2021 09:57

Going for a mooch round all the nice shops like Oka and India Jane in Marlow High Street 😊

hanahsaunt · 11/04/2021 09:57

Our John Lewis is closing 😭. I will be going for lunch with DD who has an in service day and maybe to a bookshop.

Toottootdrivers · 11/04/2021 09:59

Clarks! My DS started walking during lockdown so he needs his first properly fitted shoes. I agree kids shoes should have been considered essential retail. Trying to measure him myself was a nightmare and I'm not convinced I got the right size.

user1494055864 · 11/04/2021 10:00

None as I'm working, but even if I wasn't, I think I'd give it a miss for a week or so. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the stampedes at Primark though.

Alfiemoon1 · 11/04/2021 10:00

No where I am working all day need to go to Clark’s to buy ds some school shoes which i begrudge as he’s year 11 and only has a few more weeks at school but they are kicking off about him being in black trainers

Stripyhoglets1 · 11/04/2021 10:01

None I'll be working at home and waiting for the Qs to calm down a bit!

Pinkflipflop85 · 11/04/2021 10:02

Primark.

The kids have grown like weeds and the supermarkets barely have any clothes in their sizes.

happymummy12345 · 11/04/2021 10:03

None as I don't need to. No need to all rush out just because we can

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 11/04/2021 10:03

I won't be visiting any tomorrow.

My life doesn't revolve around shopping.

AHobbyaweek · 11/04/2021 10:03

London zoo Monday and IKEA Tuesday!

IAmTheDuke · 11/04/2021 10:05

Definitely going to Windsor (nearest big town for shopping but getting there early to park!) for Lush and maybe a browse round Daniels.

Laquila · 11/04/2021 10:05

I'm really looking forward to a nice peaceful wander round John Lewis with my Mum but think I'll wait til the cafe's open again too. Really looking forward to browsing in my tiny local bookshop too.

@ChardonnaysPetDragon Great - neither does mine! What's your point?

BarbaraofSeville · 11/04/2021 10:05

God No! Let the crowds and queues disperse first. I'd rather do without than queue for more than a few minutes to get into a shop.

A decathlon has opened up in my city recently and I'd like to go for a browse, and maybe try on some walking boots, but I can definitely wait a week or two at least.

RaininSummer · 11/04/2021 10:05

None. At work all week and rarely go in shops anyway

FlowEr262 · 11/04/2021 10:05

Beautician - facial hair is going wild, as hard as I try to keep on top of it....
