Posting for traffic

I usually go to bed between 1-2am and now I'm thinking this isn't normal after reading many threads where people are going to bed much earlier... the other day I read a thread where op was worried for her adult daughter having to work til 10pm, both my mil and Dm go to bed at 9 ish, my sil is also in bed by 9...

So what time do you go to bed usually?

Midnight. Up at 630am. Tired. Trying to get better at earlier but a crave the peace away from kids and that’s later on...

Donteatpurplebroccoli · 07/03/2021 19:10

Used to be 9-10 before dc now depends on the day / previous night / current night!! Between 8 - 11!

OverTheRainbow88 · 07/03/2021 19:11

10ish

Donteatpurplebroccoli · 07/03/2021 19:12

I’ve always been an early riser tho

VerityWibbleWobble · 07/03/2021 19:12

10pm, sometimes I'm a rebel and stay up until 11. That said I've been known to go to bed at 8pm if I'm that tired.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 07/03/2021 19:12

Bed at 9.30, read, asleep at 10 and awake at 6.

HereLiveIAmNotACat · 07/03/2021 19:13

Bed around 10.30ish then read/play on phone till midnight

grapewine · 07/03/2021 19:14

Between midnight and 3am. I freelance and work better at night.

QueenPaw · 07/03/2021 19:14

Usually between 11.30-1am
Every so often I get shattered and end up going at about 8pm

GrumpySausage · 07/03/2021 19:14

Normally between 10-11 but maybe once every few weeks I have a really early night and go to bed at 8ish. I tend to watch a bit of telly but am often asleep within the hour.

Usually up about 7.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 07/03/2021 19:15

Aargh. I’ve been staying up until 1-2 too but I really shouldn’t! J get so tired and find waking up in the morning so hard.

I also crave the peace of night time hours when kids are in bed, but fundamentally I think I’m a night owl and would prefer a day structured around later sleeping and later waking.

Pancake4life · 07/03/2021 19:15

its getting earlier and earlier.. was 10 now usually 9.30 . I do tend to watch TV for half an hour though

LindaEllen · 07/03/2021 19:16

I'm similar to you. 1-2am then awake for 8. No problem.

Wolfcub · 07/03/2021 19:16

Up to bed at ten and read for up to an hour

Justcallmebebes · 07/03/2021 19:16

10pm. Up at 5.45am. Occasionally 11 but feel tired next day

80sMum · 07/03/2021 19:16

I just checked my Fitbit and on average my sleep time usually starts around 1.30am to 2.00am. Very occasionally (once every few months) I'm in bed before midnight and, equally occasionally, sometimes I'm still up at 3.30am.

SoundWithoutAName · 07/03/2021 19:17

8.30 same time as DC.

Babyroobs · 07/03/2021 19:17

I always go to bed between 1am and 2am so you are not alone. Even then I cannot sleep when I get there. I finish work at 4.30 and generally have a nap between 5-6pm, then get up to start tea.

lioncitygirl · 07/03/2021 19:17

1-2am. Awake at 7am. Sometimes (like last night) 330am 🤦🏻‍♀️

JayAlfredPrufrock · 07/03/2021 19:18

After the 10 o’clock news. So in bed by 10.45 ish. Watch an episode of something on Netflix then fall asleep listening to the Archers.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 07/03/2021 19:18

I'd like to go to be around 10.30. I actually get to bed around midnight and sleep by about half past due to an anxious and sleep averse SEN ds. Sigh.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 07/03/2021 19:19

What are you doing at that time of night?

millenialblush · 07/03/2021 19:20

10.30, up at 7ish

WolfHunter · 07/03/2021 19:21

12am up a 6am.. tired all the time but never seem to be able to get bed any earlier.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 07/03/2021 19:21

10.00ish, bit later on weekends. I'm 53 if that makes any difference. Sometimes I go to bed and read or go on MN though. No TV in bedroom. I get up around 6.45
