To ask you this question... which would you replace first if they all broke at the same time?

Was lovingly loading the dish washer this morning (it's fairly new in my life and I love it) and I wondered if my washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer all broke at the same time, which I would hope to replace first.

I think I might be unreasonable to say the dish washer. It brings me so much joy.

You ?

I dont have a dishwasher anymore and when it did break i didnt bother replacing it...my washing machine however would be replaced the same day it broke.
Not fussed on replacing tumble dryer either.

CherieBabySpliffUp · 15/02/2021 16:59

Washing machine as I would say that is the only vital one. The others are luxuries Grin

SeasonFinale · 15/02/2021 17:00

Washing machine, for sure.

FourTeaFallOut · 15/02/2021 17:01

The washing machine. No contest.

1Morewineplease · 15/02/2021 17:01

Definitely the washing machine.

Hankunamatata · 15/02/2021 17:01

Washing machine

HirplesWithHaggis · 15/02/2021 17:02

Washing machine every time. Doing a load of kingsize sheets and duvet cover by hand (or by foot in the bath) does not appeal.

Lunaballoon · 15/02/2021 17:02

Washing machine here too. I could live without a dishwasher and wouldn’t want a tumble drier anyway.

Floobydo · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine, then dishwasher, then tumble drier

LApprentiSorcier · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine is the only one of those I have.

Meowtha · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine
Tumble dryer
Dishwasher

This time of year I don't know what I'd do without a tumble dryer. I often give it a fond pat.

When I first had my own flat age 25 in 2009 it was 6 months before I could afford a washing machine. I did my washing in the bath. Ugh, don't miss that.

TheFlis12345 · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine, it’s way more essential than the other two.

NetballHoop · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine, then dishwasher. Never had a tumble drier so obviously not a priority for me.

AryaStarkWolf · 15/02/2021 17:03

Has to be washing machine, hand washing the dishes would be annoying but I'll be fucked if I'm hand washing the clothes

Cagedbirdsinging · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine first , dishwasher next , tumble dryer never .
Hand washing bedlinens , towels and the clothes of three muddy boys is a miserable chore !

Petitmum · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine.

Prufrocks · 15/02/2021 17:03

Washing machine
Dishwasher (in close succession)
Tumble dryer (currently saving up to replace my broken one)

Letseatgrandma · 15/02/2021 17:04

Washing machine.

I can easily wash dishes by hand and could dry clothes on an airer even though both would be annoying. Washing all our clothes by hand or having to drive to a laundrette would be a total pain.

AryaStarkWolf · 15/02/2021 17:04

oh yes and it would be in this order Washing machine-Tumble Dryer-Dish washer

ElaineMarieBenes · 15/02/2021 17:04

Washing machine - cannot stand the dishwasher and use only for storage! Hot enough never to need a dryer where I currently live!

CamVegOut · 15/02/2021 17:05

Washing machine then dishwasher

WhatWouldPhyllisCraneDo · 15/02/2021 17:05

Washing machine.

Then tumble dryer.
Then dishwasher.

LegendDairy · 15/02/2021 17:05

Washing machine. I don't even own a dishwasher or a tumble drier.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 15/02/2021 17:05

Washing machine absolutely.

FuzzyPuffling · 15/02/2021 17:05

Washing machine every time.
