Sex Cape

About to get into a quickie when DH wrapped duvet around his shoulders and announced that it was his 'sex cape' ...

Anyone else married to their bestie who is also an absolute clown and can't help bringing it into the bedroom? I swear most attempts end in hysterics these days 😳🤪

That made me chuckle and sounds like something my DH might say Grin

LibrariesGiveUsPower45321 · 29/12/2020 10:37

He sounds like a keeper to me!

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 29/12/2020 10:38

Reminds me of Russell Brand and his 'cloak of luuuuurve'. Made me laugh.

NameChangeUnwiseAdvice · 29/12/2020 10:39

Hahahaha!! Yep I've got a husband that sounds similar. Makes me howl with laughter!

TheQueef · 29/12/2020 10:39

Sorry I thought of Mr Poppy Blush

No, but wish I was. Love it.
iCrochetSoIDontKillPeople · 29/12/2020 10:44

Once (as a joke) he rolled off and said 'mmm that was better than a sock' ... I laughed so much I couldn't manage to do the loo shuffle after (cue sheet change)

We have 4 kids between us so it's imperative we have a sense of humour... I just wish we could leave it at the bedroom door 😳

That made me laugh - my husband and I have similar childish senses of humour. No one else would find us in any way funny but between ourselves we’re hilarious so we don’t care... I, like you, feel incredibly lucky to be with someone who makes me laugh every day.

LEELULUMPKIN · 29/12/2020 14:53

I personally think a shared sense of humour is key to a long and happy marriage.

DH and I have been together 28 years, he is my Best Friend and makes me laugh every day too.

Vital with the shit we have had to deal with and still do on a daily basis.

BrumBoo · 29/12/2020 14:58

Yes. You both sound 'proper mad like'. What hilarity.

OscarWildesCat · 29/12/2020 14:59

This is exactly the kind of thing my DH would do, love him to bits and the sex life is generally good but I get you OP, sometimes I’m just like, oh ffs, kill the mood why don’t you 😂. He’s lucky I love him!

f83mx · 29/12/2020 15:06

That would ruin it for me

CrotchBurn · 29/12/2020 15:11

This wouldnt make me laugh

GladAllOver · 29/12/2020 15:11

Christmas morning DH brought me tea in bed.
Nothing unusual about that, except that when he walked in his privates were decorated with tinsel and mistletoe. He can be very silly sometimes!

And yes I did kiss him underneath it.

I think some posters need to think 'does this thing I'm about to post really need to be shared? Would I walk into a shop, stand on a counter and announce it to everyone within earshot?'. Some things can and absolutely should be kept to yourself 🤢.
GarlicMonkey · 29/12/2020 15:21

I can relate. Mine stands there naked swinging his hips so his bits slap from side to side & it sounds like a car indicator. There's more... so much more.... but I'll spare you the details. We're in our 50s BTW, it doesn't stop when they get older.

Aspiringmatriarch · 29/12/2020 15:23

Ignore the perpetually po-faced OP, your DH sounds really good company. My DP is a bit like this and it's not always erotic but it keeps us both cheerful!

PoppinTheCorn · 29/12/2020 15:24

Sex doesn't have to be a serious and solemn affair.
A good giggle can liven things up. You know what they say about making a woman laugh....
My DH once tried swinging into the bedroom by hanging onto the top of the door frame while giving a Tarzan cry.
Unfortunately his fingers slipped off, sending him crashing to to floor. His woawoawo ended up more of a owowow.
I laughed so much that i ended up giving him a sympathy shag.

MrSanders · 29/12/2020 15:25

What an absolute mad lad.

movingonup20 · 29/12/2020 15:26

Sounds like a great dp you have! Ending in giggling is always the sign of a good relationship

1forAll74 · 29/12/2020 15:28

I think it's nice to hear, and read about , all these posts about fun , and loving experiences that people have in their homes. There are so many, far too many, posts on here, all about the trouble and strife, and anger,in some peoples relationships.

I agree brumboo. So mad and wacky. S
KarlKennedysDurianFruit · 29/12/2020 15:31

That's the kind of random crap DH pulls, pre Covid we were away for a wedding and staying in a nice hotel, he fell off the bed messing about during sex, I was cracking up, until I realised he'd actually broken his finger and it was pointing the wrong way. It does still make me chuckle though.

I agree, it's good to hear about laughter for a change.
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/12/2020 15:36

So do I. What a pity the professionally offended have found their way on to what was shaping up to be a nice cheerful thread.
