A sense of humor is great. But I can’t stand men (it’s nearly always men) who try to be the nonstop standup comedian every time you give for a quiet drink down the pub. It’s exhuasting listening to that guy in the group who is constantly trying to be funny. Men often use humor as a mask for insecurities / a last ditch device for trying to get some action. A bit like how slapping on heavy makeup can fulfill the same evolutionary purpose for women.

Don’t know why people are questioning why this is a post. I prefer reading these kinds of threads. It’s a hell of a lot better than reading someone moaning about how many chocolate a family member has eaten over Christmas, or complaining about plastic toys being given as presents to their kids.
