Pajama bottoms with backside seams are unhygenic

Am I the only person who has a problem with the backside seam on pajama bottoms? The seam goes up my bum so I end up wearing night time knickers underneath to stop that happening and to stop having to wash my pjs every day. Do pj bottoms without a backside seam exist? Someone told me M&S had some, but can't find them.

Are your pyjama bottoms too small for you? Why does the seam go up your arse?

Why wear pants to bed?
I don’t wear pants with pjs but I also don’t sleep in pjs or pants pjs get washed
I shower every day so not sure what is unhygienic about it? What do you think you’ll catch from your own pyjamas?

I'm another that always wears knickers with pjs .... I didn't even realise other people didn't 😂 Having said that, I can't sleep in pj bottoms so I usually sleep in just the top and knickers and the bottoms are for lounging about in before bed

I'm currently in bed wearing pants and jeans and now my fanny is feeling dry and almost itchy and asohyxiated thanks to these comments!
