I cant stand tom allan and he is on EVERYTHING !!!!!

His jokes are just all one really - camp. AND he's on extra slice now, so I cant watch that lol. Just watched Mock the Week one of my favs, and nearly turned it off cos of him. Am I alone...??!!

He is a bit ubiquitous. I have just seen him on Mock the Week, and one of the comedians cracked a joke about hime having been on TV 80 times this week already.

Exactly this! I turn straight off if he is on. Same with Alex Horne, (how on earth did he get TV work?) Rosie Jones, Josie long, Cariad Lloyd, Nina Conti and Ronni Ancona.

I was watching An Extra Slice a few weeks ago where he was running around the tables with audience members scattered about and it was all so hyper but fake and weird. Paul Hollywood looked a bit WTF.

I found him very annoying when I first saw him. He just sounded like a whiny estate agent. But then I couldn’t avoid him and actually he’s pretty funny.

I now just fast forward through all of his bits on extra slice. I liked some of his standup type stuff a while ago but he just really grates now, and extra slice is the worst.

I find Joel dommett annoying too and I've gotta turn over whenever he is on a program too

He created Taskmaster- it is his show and Greg Davies is employed to do it.

I found him really annoying at first but somehow grew to like him, can’t deny he’s witty.

In a similar way I couldn’t stand Keith Lemon for ages either.

YANBU - I have to watch Extra Slice on catch up so I can fast forward through Tom Allen. The only amusing thing about him being on the show is when the camera pans to Jo Brand and you can see from her face how unfunny she finds him too.

Pure sexism on the part of C4 that a brilliant female comedian cannot be expected to carry a show on her won - even though she is far far far funnier than the wretched manchild....

I agree Tom Allen is awful though - I don’t watch Extra Slice any more because of him.

Not unfair at all- it’s my opinion. If someone else presented it I’d give it a chance but as I knew he would be on it it’s a flat no.

I love Tom Allen I think he's so funny.

I actually find him quite funny on most things, but I must admit we stopped watching Extra Slice because of his bit, it was all a bit too stilted and forced, as if he was reading a script. I don’t understand why they brought him on, Jo Brand was brilliant by herself.

I like Tom Allen on mock the week and doing stand up but I'm not sure why he is getting all these presenting jobs, he's not as funny

I have to skip his sections too, and I wish they'd get rid of him on Bake Off: the Professionals as well. He's even doing voice over for Apprentice: the Best Bits. Incredibly annoying, all arch and look at me. If he moves in on Pottery Throw Down and Sewing Bee, it will be TOO MUCH.

Like a few PP he really grated at first. It's hard to see past the OTT annoyingness but now I actually find him hilarious!

Well I find Extra Slice really dull, but occasionally I tune in because I remember he's in it!

Have none of you ever been addicted to Bleak Expectations?? We've listened to it in the car on road trips forever and still love it. I think he's fab.
