His jokes are just all one really - camp. AND he's on extra slice now, so I cant watch that lol. Just watched Mock the Week one of my favs, and nearly turned it off cos of him. Am I alone...??!!

Another one I think is brilliant is Gary Delaney (who also happens to be married to Sarah Millican). I love his one-liners - sometimes clever, sometimes silly; usually both!

If anybody can't instantly place him from his name alone, does it help if I say "Princess Monaco of Kent" ?!

I agree with PP about how comedians change - often for the worse - when they make it big and are no longer living what Neil Sedaka called 'the hungry years'. Of course, who could blame them for enjoying the success that their abilities, tenacity and hard work have brought them; but I think, deep down, we want to see a comedian as the slightly tipsy person in the corner of the pub who keeps surprising themselves by coming out with off-the-cuff comedic gems rather than the accomplished, polished after-dinner raconteur.

The Mark Watson adopting a Welsh persona when he's a Bristolian was super weird though. It was more than upping an accent. Rather, he appropriated his Mum's as his shtick then found it hard to walk away from. He talks more about it here.

I can't bear Tom Allen. I immediately turn off anything he's in. Which feels like just about everything at the moment.

Tragic rather than proven. Concern would have been the age gap of 24 years. The real scandal however was the mental health care of an 18 year old who had tried to kill himself 43 times yet was dismissed as a drama queen. The Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation is answerable to that. The jury came back with an open verdict.

I am Romesh Ranganathan's biggest fan, I watch everything he's in but OH can't bear him. I guess it's quite hard to be universally liked if you're a comedian as it's a quite a personal thing.

Romesh Ranganathan seemed to be everywhere six months ago and I found him annoying because of it, there is usually someone in that position all the time. I can't make my mind up about Rosie Jones, I liked her on The Last Leg but sometimes I wonder if she is being exploited for the wrong reasons.
