I cant stand tom allan and he is on EVERYTHING !!!!!

His jokes are just all one really - camp. AND he's on extra slice now, so I cant watch that lol. Just watched Mock the Week one of my favs, and nearly turned it off cos of him. Am I alone...??!!

It was pointed out on Mock the Week how often he is on tv!

He's a comedian. If you don't watch any comedy panel shows I suppose that is why you might never have heard of him.

That's possible I don't watch some of the ones mentioned here. Making hay while the sun shines, I guess, can't say I blame him.

I totally agree - there are quite a few shows I refuse to watch due to who is on them...

OnTheVents I think he treads the wrong side of the line between funny and mean with the audience in extra slice. There's gentle mocking, and there's nastiness. He's tipped into nastiness too many times.

I agree. It spoils the 'niceness' of the show.

When Extra Slice first started it was only 30 mins, I think Tom Allen only joined the show when it was extended to an hour, so Jo Brand still has the main job and Tom is a sidekick. I love them both.

Another massive Bleak Expectations fan here, won't hear a word against it (bar maybe the very last episode). Everyone, including him are absolutely brilliant in it. I also like him on The Apprentice: You're Fired. I actually think he's been the best presenter on that since Dara O'Brien. He actually seems enthusiastic about it, which many previous presenter was missing.

It’s nothing to do with them being female. It’s just their style of comedy/personalities that jar. I also don’t like Jimmy Carr, frankie Boyle, the small bald man on mock the week and I’m sure plenty others that just dot spring to mind instantly but I would turn the tv over if they were on.

Aaaw I love Tom Allen. He was a support act at our local Comedy night years ago and he stood out as really funny back then with his unique humour. He came back a couple of years later as the main billing, he's brilliant.I say he should be on more shows.

If it helps ally your fears my favourite comedian of the last decade or so is Sarah Millican.

But nothings as bad as Matt Lucas standing over GBB contestants pushing his jokes at length, few of which are funny. It's painful. I wonder what he's being paid to do that? Feels so me-me-me...

I think he's a bit of a one trick pony and has spoilt extra slice for me, gurning and innuendo isn't funny imo

I can't stand him and he seems to be following me around and ruining my favourite TV & Radio programs!

There must be a sound room they can lock him in? He could run a live stream to fans & the rest of us could escape him!!!

I'm Shocked he wasn't asked to be on ' I'm a celebrity' with his tie on over his fleece and a fancy hat!
I don't mind him in things , but like Rylan they do end up doing everything on tv! I don't watch extra slice or taskmaster though.

I didn't used to like him but he's grown on me...

I was watching An Extra Slice a few weeks ago where he was running around the tables with audience members scattered about and it was all so hyper but fake and weird. Paul Hollywood looked a bit WTF.

But that's exactly what he's meant to do on Extra Slice. It's his actual job and PH couldn't have been surprised by it.

I think he's funny but he can do more serious stuff as well, I've heard him on R4.

I like Sarah Milligan too .. Trouble is with tv , too much exposure and the brits do turn on you ...
I like Alex Jones as apart from doing strictly once she isn't everywhere else and very normal and down to earth. A few can get the balance right I think.
Matt Lucas is terrible on GBBO : his like a huge baby and not funny. His better on the radio when he fills in on there. Less childlike.

Hate Alex Horne, I know he is responsible for Taskmaster and I do like that, I just think he needs to be behind the camera not in front of it.
Bloody Sarah Pascal is on everything at the moment but I don't mind her so much (in small doses).
