Got a mundane office job, got married, became progressively more and more ill, had a colossal mental-health meltdown, nearly drank myself to death, realised the drudgery of married life and a dreary career in an office weren't for me, ended both relationship and job, embarked on the beginning of a 10-year long recovery.

Still nothing like the person I formerly was prior to turning 30, so yeah, not the best time of my life.

30 - divorce finalised & met lovely man
31 - moved in together
32 - had baby number 1 & bought house
33 - got married
34 - will have had baby number 2

Il turn 35 soon. No more plans coming up other than potentially extend or move, but that’s the next 2-5 year plan

Had my son, got divorced and my career imploded.

I got married, had 2 children, moved out of London and changed my career. That’s quite a lot actually, never thought about it before! My life hasn’t changed majorly from 35-40 though.

Loads changed for me!

At 30 I was living in NYC with my boyfriend. Super happy. Had been on a health kick so was in great shape.
No kids, ok job. Renting.

At 35 we lived in London, owned our first home and had my first baby. My career had really taken off and my income had more or less doubled. Body was wrecked post pregnancy though and exercise took a nose dive.
Still pretty happy though.

Bought first house with my boyfriend. Had two babies. Went part time at work.

Got married, got a qualification & got pregnant on our 2nd child

Finished my master's degree, went on some nice holidays, moved abroad to be with my boyfriend, got engaged, got married, bought and renovated an apartment, started trying for a baby. I'm 34 now so I'm hoping we'll be on our way to starting a family by the time I turn 35, but it's been less straightforward than we hoped.

Fell in love at 30, got married at 32, went to rehab and stopped drinking at 33, and then - at 35 - had my first child.
