I’ve been furloughed so I’m watching far too much Netflix.

Anyway, I’ve just binged Life on Mars and I’m now on Ashes to Ashes, and can I just say that Gene Hunt makes me swoon. To quote a mumsnet classic, he gives me the fanny gallops!

Appreciate it's been a while now since anyone posted, but as I was still watching A2A I skimmed a lot of the posts to avoid the spoilers. Just had a re-read now I've watched it.

He still doesn't do anything for me, but there's definitely something appealing about him!

Incidentally @ShowOfHands did you stick with Spooks? Adam was way more swoon worthy in my book than Tom.

I'm still ploughing through the insipid Tom episodes 😔

DP and I have a recurring argument about A2A. I say we never finished watching it and he is adamant that we did, despite not being able to tell me what happened in it. I might cut through that debate by instigating a rewatch from the beginning of LoM.

I forgot 90% of it over the years so I understand that argument. Spent most of it saying "I don't remember this!"

Yanbu I'm into Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation at the moment. It's on amazon prime. If you haven't seen it, it might be worth a go it's very funny

Yes - but in other programmes he is just meh! It's like Sean Bean in Sharpe he is just delicious but anything else - no thanks. Or Robert pattinson in twilight or Poldark in Poldark - there could be a whole thread on these

I love Sean Bean in anything tbh. Im always sad when he dies.

Watching A2A right now and I'd absolutely hate Gene Hubt irl but he can call me Bolly Knickers if he likes.
