I’ve been furloughed so I’m watching far too much Netflix.

Anyway, I’ve just binged Life on Mars and I’m now on Ashes to Ashes, and can I just say that Gene Hunt makes me swoon. To quote a mumsnet classic, he gives me the fanny gallops!

After binge watching the series the other month for the first time, I searched him on youtube and watched a few interviews with him in - totally WTF moment hearing him all posho and not "bollyknickers" rough

I binged LOM last week (haven't seen it for years) so I'm on ATA now. I've been surprised by the strength of my feelings towards the Guv 😊

Life on Mars is one of the best shows I've ever seen and IMO one of the best things BBC has ever produced.

I have watched Life on Mars and I love it . There actually were people like Gene Hunt around and into the 80s (as shown on Ashes to Ashes) but their time was coming to an end .

I do find him quite attractive in Life on Mars despite his obnoxious toxic personality . I suppose because I have known men like him (me being a Generation X Just about) . Not that they are usually my type of man.

I was watching a True Crime documentary series on Sky the other night and its presented by Phillip Glenister . Having only seen him in the above I was actually shocked to hear that he does not have a Northern accent . He was so convincing I thought he actually was a Manc
