I’ve been furloughed so I’m watching far too much Netflix.

Anyway, I’ve just binged Life on Mars and I’m now on Ashes to Ashes, and can I just say that Gene Hunt makes me swoon. To quote a mumsnet classic, he gives me the fanny gallops!

Me and a friend (much older male, drinks in my pub) were obbsesed with Ashes. So much so we only call each other Guv and Bols now. Been doing it for years, it feels really weird if anyone calls him Alan!! 😂

I've just rewatched all of Dr Who from Eccleston onwards. Now there's a series.

I've also tried getting into Spooks which I'm enjoying but am finding the supposedly swoonworthy Matthew McWhatsit sulky and one dimensional.

I like David Mitchell.

I loved both but my favourite was the last series of A2A. The little clues peppered throughout to what was happening to them all was just amazing. The last episode was the best TV episode I think I've ever watched

Absolutely no words for how much I adored both series. But Gene and Alex had a special place in my heart - the final episode never fails to GUT me.
