Inspired by another, more serious thread. Am curious.. how many Mumsneters have, at some point in their lives taken anything stronger than smoking a bit of weed?

YANBU - yep quite a lot, a lot of the time in the late 80’s/ early 90’s.

If weed doesn't count then YABU. And I didn't even smoke it, it was cannabis tea. Tasted pretty good, made me weirdly hypervigilant for a couple of hours, wasn't worth repeating the experience, so I didn't.

Only weed back in the eighties. And only half a dozen or so times, the last being an occasion where it made me feel like s@it. So never again!

@Bonkersblond same but a little later. This thread was inspired by another where people we’re suggesting that any recreational drug using teenager was likely to end up on the street etc.

I'm saving drugs for my retirement!

Yanbu a bit of weed, coke, ecstacy and LSD twice. Minimal of all though and never bought my own.

When it stops being bohemian and fun and you know if you continue you will die, I decided to stop.
