Inspired by another, more serious thread. Am curious.. how many Mumsneters have, at some point in their lives taken anything stronger than smoking a bit of weed?

Or possibly means you’ve got ADHD and it was weak or you didn’t take a lot. People with ADHD react to drugs like that very differently.

Speed never done anything for me. I could share with a friend and they’d have a fab time, me- nothing. And I tried it quite a few times, always with friends who’d have a great time.

Yes lots of different drugs regularly over about a 5 year period 😕 I do often think about the effects on my physical and mental health. Don't even drink now.

Thanks I'll get googling. Re growing from seeds in my garden, I've watched so many TV cop shows where they find a room full of weed plants rigged up with an enormous lighting system using so much electricity that they illegally bypass the meter so I didn't realise they could be grown outdoors.. With all the actual weeds in my garden if the cops ever turn up and find it, I can feign ignorance and say I assumed it was just another weed lol

SilverySurfer:-), I've thought of having one indoor plant in one of those goldfish bowl thingies with a light over it. If the police ever came round I'd say it was a present a Dutch friend gave me years ago, is called a 'Pot Plant' and haven't I done well keeping it going for so long. Hee hee.

Long time since I smoked pot, I did like it way back in the dark ages, it was fun. I snorted speed twice and was quite hyper for a while, nothing special though and I didn't want to repeat it. Nothing else. Cannabis was nice though, some stronger than others but always relaxing.

Weed, quite a bit of coke, and ecstacy once. Might have done speed but not really sure...

I enjoyed weed a lot until I started to get horrifically paranoid (while smoking) and then barfed once too.

@SilverySurfer You can all different seeds, insulated you airing cupboard with tin foil, put it in the garden for light in the mornings, my friend grows her own in the summer in a tiny green house, she uses creeper plants they don't grow very high.
You'll be a horticulturist in no time.
Once my DC are grown up, I'll smoke pot again.

Probably less laws broken than going to a dealer. And you're safe in the knowledge that nobody's been exploited. There are many websites with step by step instructions, and of course it helps if you already have a bit of green thumb.

Thanks for the advice - I've looked on a website, there seem to be so many different varieties which is a bit baffling - I had no idea. I'think I may go for 'CBD CREW OUTDOOR MIX FEMINIZED'. Wish me luck and hope the police aren't reading this lol. I assume I will need to wait for the summer before planting.

Is it even illegal to grow CBD strain cannabis? Bearing in mind it's the substance THC (that gets you high) that's controlled.

CBD is a placebo. I'll try to find the ink documentary on CBD vape.
The testers said it was either traced with THC or placebo if users were feeling any effect.

They do! Really stinky. Apparently tomatoes grown as cover mask the smell. Autoflowers are usually lower growing than say a standard sativa which will easily grow to 2 metres outside, which makes concealment easier. They also contain more CBD than many other strains.

I took them from 1994 for about 10 yrs. Saw my mates having a fab time on speed and E's and was scared but curious to try. It was fucking brilliant! Had some fab nights. Did it every weekend. Had a few bad times too but never stopped me. I gradually started drinking alcohol as I neared late twenties and the final straw was in an after hrs club when I witnessed several groups of people who were angry on them. I had only ever known people be loved up and so friendly so it was a shock! Then my boyfriend went to the toilet and a man charged in with a gun. We left! Nowadays I am tempted at times and actually had the chance the other week but I wouldn't dare risk it now. 2 kids later it would be terrible if something happened and my kids and family knew.
