DH left me at home with no snacks

30 weeks pregnant. DD asleep.
DH gone to friends house for drinks. Which is fine but I asked him to get me pudding and a drink from the shop at the end of the road before he left. He left and forgot to get it even though I said it as he was saying bye. AIBU to be majorly pissed off and grumpy.
He's at friends now and won't be back before I'm in bed.
I wanted something nice to drink and some chocolate!! Sad

Yes, YABU. It would have been nice if he had got it but you are an adult so I am assuming unless you are ill there were other times today you could have gone to the shop yourself in preparation.

Are you quite young? In the nicest way YABU. it’s not his duty to bring you chocolate and something nice to drink. It would have been nice if he did but that’s life.

This is either light hearted or you've omitted a rather relevant bit of your post - why can't you get yourself some snacks? You haven't said.

DD is asleep upstairs so can't go out! (That would be a different thread... WIBU unreasonable to leave DD asleep upstairs while I get emergency snacks because I'm pregnant and DH forgot)
Will look up Justeat and see if anyone delivers chocolate.

Just for reference I'm well aware I'm being U. But I am proper annoyed about it anyway!

Yanbu your DD is asleep so can't leave the house he should have made sure u have what u need !

Yanbu. I'd be annoyed too. He agreed to get it for you, but didn't. You can't go out now as you have a child in bed. I'd be disappointed and a bit cross too.

Actually I couldn't as was doing bedtime and before that working. But yes I guess I could have planned well in advance what snacks I needed although didn't know DH was going out until bedtime.
Justeat hasn't found any dessert places that deliver so far...

You’ve been pregnant for a while so YABU not to have sorted yourself a cupboard filler with all of the snacks for this sort of occasion or any other. Too late so just eat whatever you can cobble together but tomorrow go and stock up!
