I particularly enjoyed the one about being cold and naked.

God of piston and of wheel?

I particularly enjoyed the one about being cold and naked.

That is a good one.

Colours of day was my favourite!
Number 55 possibly?!

slipperywhensparticus · 07/06/2019 21:56

OMG I forgot about these!

HumphreyCobblers · 07/06/2019 21:57

And the taste of apple pie.....

Just such good songs

BurntSausage · 07/06/2019 21:57

Oh man Colours of Day! Autumn Days! How is it that I can remember the words to all of these but can’t remember how old I am?

janetforpresident · 07/06/2019 21:58

GoldenEvilHoor
I say this as a Catholic Shock 4 years !!!!!!!!!!

DrBuckles · 07/06/2019 21:58

We all thought it was so rude to have the line cold and naked, like the rudest thing we’d ever heard!

Quellium · 07/06/2019 21:59

🎶 "Jet planes meeting in the air to be refuelled".🎶

(Definitely left me with a misconception about how likely I was to see that happen.)

Namechangenecessity · 07/06/2019 21:59

Oh god I might have to buy it 🤣 . It will go nicely with my Catholic Hymns playlist on Spotify. My husband often looks bemused when he arrives home and I’m warbling ‘Do not be Afraid’ whilst mopping the floor.

It’s my friends sons confirmation next Saturday and we were discussing today how we are hoping for some good ‘Jesus Bangers’ .

QueenArseClangers · 07/06/2019 22:00

Wonder what happened to the mop topped, open mouthed monochrome blue children on the cover?

BurntSausage · 07/06/2019 22:01

We also used to sing Street of London a fair bit, which I think was actually like a pop song that was released?

Kiki275 · 07/06/2019 22:01

Oooo did you buy no. 1 (blue) or no. 2 (green)??

EmpressLesbianInChair · 07/06/2019 22:02

Colours of day was my favourite!

Mine too!

Littlefish · 07/06/2019 22:03

I've got a copy! I almost feel inspired to go and bang out a few hymns on the piano (almost).

MrsSiba · 07/06/2019 22:05

Said Jesus to Mary now what will you do with this ointment so rich and so rare?
I'll pour it all over the feet of the Lord and I'll wipe it away with my hair she said.
I'll wipe it away with my hair.

Many many verses this one had.

Loved loved loved 'Make me a channel of your peace' and 'Shalom, Shalom'.

scarecrowhead · 07/06/2019 22:06

Who out the colours in the rainbow ? Who put the salt into the sea ?
One about a hammer - I'd hammer in the morning, all over this land
Lord of the dance - dance then wherever you may be, I am the lord of the dance said he
