what on earth is going on

strikes me there is a lot of missing items out there with no good reason why they are missing. first we had the ironing board saga then the missing chicken which turned out not to be missing in the first place but was a scary moment for a while.
well not to be out done i am missing my kindle not seen for 6 months and my ipod seems to have wandered off as well.
are any other MNers missing any important items? what is going on out there i wonder

My wedding ring has been missing over two years now and Nair hair removal cream that I used 3 days ago has been missing for two days.

My kindle went missing for a similar amount of time. I was about to order a new one just after Christmas and had one last look for it and it was in clear sight on the kitchen shelf!!

I'm also missing a pandora necklace that DH bought me for my birthday. Haven't seen it in about a year and literally have looked everywhere.

Tin foil.
I had a nearly new 27mile long extra strong box of tin foil.
I popped the ends and everything.
It has disappeared and i have searched everywhere.

I had visitors yesterday..........

My decree Absolut!!!! Can't even replace it. Whn we married I was very ill (without knowing it) and ended up in hspital 1 day after honeymoon basically until we moved house several months later.... 13 yrs this yr its been missing and I have been through all the paperwork in the house a number of times in those years

A baking tray. It sounds unimportant but it was the favoured baking tray of my adult DS and he accused me (lightheartedly) of throwing it away! In fairness I have form. I threw out an old plastic bowl of his I bought him when he was 5 (he was 30 when I disposed of it!) so I can understand why he thought it was me but it really wasn’t! He kept saying “but how could it just disappear?” I was desperate to prove my innocence but it was never found.

Ironically he moved to the other side of the world a couple of months ago and now I can’t bear to throw out things he liked using (that I don’t use) as it makes me feel sad!

I had a bright pink world aids day bracelet, it was a fancy one I wore daily. One day I took it off, put It down (I thought in the bathroom) and it wasn’t seen for two years.

I searched that bathroom top to toe a number of times (it was tiny) and thoroughly cleaned it a lot over that time.

When it did turn up it was under the drawers, which are on wheels and had been moved numerous time so I could clean the floor.

I also blame the pixies 🧚‍♂️

Black comfy clothing of mine, think leggings, jersey dresses, lounge wear is constantly going missing, never to be seen again. I am the only female in my house and it drives me mad.

I also have a bracelet that disappears and then reappears in strange places.

Nail scissors. Gone missing from the bathroom shelf at some point in the autumn (but I was pregnant so fully accept I may have done something with them that I can't remember).

And surely it's borrowers, rather than pixies?!

My engagement ring.

I can’t wear it with my wedding ring so I put it away safely and it’s just disappeared.
It would’ve been impossible to steal it unless it was DH and if he was going to steal from me I’m sure he would make it worth his while and nick the heirloom jewellery Grin
