What is the ultimate Jacket Potato filling?

My pregnancy craving is jacket potatoes! I can't stop Blush

My absolute favourite is butter, tuna and cheese.
Sometimes I add beans to this too, hot or cold ones. Or just beans and cheese, or cheese and red onion.
Then there's beans and cheese..
Veggie chilli and sour cream..

The potato has to be slightly mashed with a fork in the middle and then covered in butter before any toppings are added.

Also, I went to a cafe today who didn't pre butter and gave me butter in a little pot - how on earth do you add butter to an already filled potato!?

Mmmmmmm AIBU to ask what the ultimate jacket potato is?

Lots of butter, grated mature cheddar cheese, lashings of veggie chilli - YUM!

homemadegin · 02/01/2019 16:04

Same as you, tuna and cheese. With a huge salad. Or cheese and beans. When my friend got married we both had tuna and cheese baked potatoes. She knew she would eat the meal if it was that. Everyone else had the wedding food!!

Whatififall · 02/01/2019 16:04

Cheese and coleslaw

SecretNutellaFix · 02/01/2019 16:05

Chilli with cheese and a little sour cream with chopped chives is my favourite.

My husband loves cheese, ham and beans.

stokieginge · 02/01/2019 16:05

That's right. All together at the same time!

Cheese
Cottage cheese.....

DontCallMeCharlotte · 02/01/2019 16:06

Tuna and cheese together? Surely not?

Mine is lashings of butter and just good old cheese. In fact you've just solved tonight's dinner, thank you.

isseywithcats · 02/01/2019 16:06

Mine is cut in half mash the middle bits of the potato, then butter (lots of) then grated strong cheddar and coleslaw on top. In a cafe ask when you order it if they put the butter on first if not ask them if they can do that as there is nothing worse than trying to lift the filling to try to get the butter underneath

userschmoozer · 02/01/2019 16:08

Double baked;
scoop out the cooked potato and mash with a drop of vinegar, milk, butter and grated cheese.
spoon it back into the skins and sprinkle with more grated cheese and a dash of paprika.
bake for another 20 minutes on a higher heat until crispy on top.

MrsDannyRicc · 02/01/2019 16:10

Cheese and pineapple.

(but then I'm one of those heinous people that like pineapple on pizza...)

NotUmbongoUnchained · 02/01/2019 16:10

My husband made chilli jackets one day, but because his brain seemed to be malfunctioning he actually made Bolognese. It was so yummy with cheese that we have Bolognese jackets quite often now.

MrsDannyRicc · 02/01/2019 16:10

Coronation chicken is also a favourite.

GreyBird84 · 02/01/2019 16:10

Cheese chicken & sweet chilli sauce

Or just a shit load of cheese .....mm.

RayRayBidet · 02/01/2019 16:11

Coronation chicken

C00lio · 02/01/2019 16:12

Baked beans and coleslaw.

Everyone thinks it's a gross combination... until they try it!

sadeyedladyofthelowlands63 · 02/01/2019 16:12

Lots and lots of cheese. If I can be bothered, I scoop out the insides, mash with the butter and cheese and then bung them back in the oven for a bit.

ImNotReallyAWaitress · 02/01/2019 16:13

Orkney cheddar and Heinz beans

Northernmum100 · 02/01/2019 16:14
