To ask why there's so much hate for Meghan?

Curious as to why there seems to be so much negativity towards her? I genuinely know nothing about her.

Is it just jealousy?

I haven't seen any hate for Meghan, in fact only support......

I didn't think there was hate towards her? I'm more surprised that there is, I think they are a good match. If Harry and Meghan are happy then all is good in my opinion. Once all the fuss is over and it's down to the daily humdrum, all I'd like is for the happy couple to enjoy married life like everyone else does.

Because of traditionalists. She is a divorcee celebrity add into the fact she’s mixed raced as well and the traditionalists minds are well and truly blown.

Same as PP - I haven’t seen any hate or negativity- and only empathy with respect to her “challenging” family.

I've seen plenty of hate online. Most of it is race based.

I love her. She’s stunning. She looks like she makes Harry happy and vice versa.

I genuinely got a little bit emotional watching their wedding today. Harry seems to have found what he has been looking for.

I also admire Meghan for her principles. She is a strong role model.

Mainly Dail Fail comments. Other sites too. I'm assuming it's jealousy.

I don't get it. I am a card carrying republican and I really do not get it. She is a feminist humanitarian and has done a lot to bring to light some female focused charities. She wants to shine a spotlight on these causes.

Only a few things is can think of:
She is a successful actress, mixed race, divorced, beautiful, flawed, do-gooder and people just do not like that someone with a voice is actually in the archaic, out of date monarchy.

Germain Greer talks out of her arse. Last time I saw her on breakfast telly in the week she said Prince Philip had arranged Markle Snrs heart attack. So shes either on the cooking sherry very early, or just talks bollox, or perhaps both.

Everyone who’s been critical of her on any way. You’re not genuinely asking why.

From what I’ve seen, it’s pretty polarised between hagiography and hate, both of which seem OTT, in fact.

Racism mainly I'd guess. And that she's a divorsed American with troublesome half siblings. Best ignored really.

I've seen lots of snipey horrible comments on here alone OP, never mind elsewhere. I put a lot of it down to jealousy and the insecurities of others who need to be vile about strangers in order to feel better about themselves.

Meghan I have no problem with. Now the whole royal family thing is a different story.....
