Discrimination.

AIBU To ask that the BBC stops discriminating against men and boys by not allowing them to have a Men's Hour on radio 4.
Women have a woman's hour to discuss and air issues for women, but men do not.
If we want equality shouldn't we ask the BBC to give men the same, after all what harm would it do to us if men had the same arena to discuss there issues.
Equality means the same rights for all.

Are women expected to sort out everything?

Sort out your own men's hour. Don't expect us to do it for you.

laudanum · 31/01/2018 23:24

But men!

PleaseDontGoadTheToad · 31/01/2018 23:24

Yes.

Vicky1990 · 31/01/2018 23:29

I have just been reading tomorrows newspaper on line.

19 year old man who was held on remand for rape, named, loosing his job, now released as his accuser was found to be lying.
Will she be named and now sent to prison?. (This is just the latest of many such cases)

Female world renowned Harpist found guilty of sexually abusing a school boy.

Female Paedophile, 41, jailed for 7 years for amassing a Hugh stash of child porn.

These issues will not be discussed on woman's hour as the two presenter are feminist and do not like discussing anything that revels the depravity of some women.

This is why we need a men's hour so that we can talk about and warn men and boys about what happens in the real world.

I do not want women's hour to be scraped, but want to see a men's hour as well, who could object to that?.

Meh. I'm sure they will be discussed elsewhere.

BBC Radio 4 Womens Hour - Female Sex Offenders.
www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/04/2009_24_mon.shtml

A quick google would have saved you some egg on face, OP.

PositivelyPERF · 31/01/2018 23:38

Oh I get it now,OP! Silly me. What you actually want is a misogynist hour, NOT a man’s hour, so you can sit and talk about all the bad women. You don’t actually give a shit about the real problems that men may have, such as male cancers, being a lone parent, etc. You just want a place where you can slate women. I get you now.

jammydodge · 31/01/2018 23:40

Gosh I wonder what newspapers you're reading op?

TrustNaeFuckerEver · 31/01/2018 23:40

This has been simmering for a while hasn't it Vicky Smile Maybe time to move on, from Radio 4 and listen to Radio 5

Woman's hour, radio 4. Sexist , femanist, white, old, man hating, one sided, and out of touch with the real world. ( We don't all work in an office siting on our arses.)

Vicky1990 Sun 12-Nov-17 22:13:43
On radio 4 woman's hour the two presenters, Jane Garvey and Jenny Murrey declare themselves as feminist, and as such many of the items discussed discriminate against men.
Is this fair as the BBC is supposed to fair, impartial, and not to discriminate on grounds of gender.
Half the population has no voice on the BBC as it is Male, this does not seem to be in keeping with impartiality to me, what do you think ?.

jammydodge · 31/01/2018 23:48

Here you go op

TrustNaeFuckerEver · 31/01/2018 23:49

Men's Hour on Radio5 ended last January due to lack of interest

Hahaaaa! I didn't realise that! I thought it was still going.

Poor menz Flowers

PositivelyPERF · 31/01/2018 23:54

Aw well Victor, much as I’ve enjoyed reading your ramblings, I have to settle the youngest, clean the crap out of the cat’s litter tray and take the dog to the toilet. Night night, for now.

laudanum · 01/02/2018 00:01

Probably an incel.

Battleax · 01/02/2018 01:25

Vicky, there IS one already and nobody is objecting to anything. I really fail to see what the problem is here. Also, you started an identical thread to this a few months back. Why are you so obsessed with the topic?

Do you also have problems with things like Black History Month and want a White History Month to balance things out?

SusanBunch · 01/02/2018 08:27

Head to the Daily Mail. They are totally up on the depravity of women. You really will find your people there- I recommend something by Richard Littlejohn or Jan Moir or maybe searching the archives for some old-school Katie Hopkins. If you just want to hear how fat and ugly all women are, try Sarah Vine.

AnakinCyberwalker · 01/02/2018 09:11

HardAsSnails that's a really good graphic you posted on P1.

^Well you had one and you didnt use it so maybe your issue is with men who dont want to have a 'Men's Hour'?^

You dont need a radio show to talk to the boys in your life about 'life'. I have never listened to 'Womens Hour' but I still managed to bring up 2 boys.

Andromeida29 · 01/02/2018 10:19

I think the OP is looking for attention. The Daily Mail is obviously not stimulating enough for her. I would think that the OP is also one of the "I'm just not like other women, hair swish, poor menz" types.

Yup. She will probably wake up in 20 years or so and realise that the patriarchy thinks she is worthless, despite all her efforts over the years sticking up for the menz at the expense of her own interests. Oh well. Then she can write a column for the DM about how she has lost her looks and that all other women need to face facts and accept that they are useless. A bit sad, but hey.

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 01/02/2018 11:14

Would it not be more useful to email the BBC and ask them to reinstate it vicky

I dont think they will as it appears that hardly anyone listened to it but its probably better than coming on here

Its not mumsnets fault!!

GerdaLovesLili · 01/02/2018 12:31

Vicky... that'd be short for Victor then?

VladmirsPoutine · 01/02/2018 12:33

Why aren't trolls even bothering to make a concerted effort these days?
